its difficult take of because the wind goes over the tower and wants to go down at the other side .. its beautifull too ee the wings looking for power and direction .. it feeds the innersmile of an experienced pilot .. if you do not understand this condition please dont try it will kill you quick .. its actually not that hard to do if you do have control.. good flights too all !!!!
hm .. i do dunesoaring in the netherlands .. and many mountain pilots come and tell me/ us its dangerous what we do .. but in fact they themselves simply do not have the technique ..i on the otherhand could never do aerobatics .. what you see in this clip is just control and playfullness .. and thats not for 99% of mountainpilots who are cruising the sky s and never take time groundhandling or really testing their wings ..off course i cant speak about you ... i dont know you .. have save flights ..

i bet theres a person who toplanded this tower ... its just a good challenge and very doable .. just easily hoover front above and jerk your wing out of the air ... (i wouldnt try .. but he others with more talent or less brain)

I am not, nor have I ever been paragliding. I am wondering why, if the parachute is already deployed, do they have this huge backpack on?
on the one side, it is more than a backpack. it is also a protection for your back. on the other side you need to pack your wing again and transport it up again.

Aderly Sanchez They call it a 'wing' and it doesn't like being packed up tight like a parachute.
It's for back/ass protection. It is filled with foam or air. A paragliding wing can fit into a small backpack when stored.
OneSkiWonder they are 2 totally different design and made for different things.
With paragliding you fly up if you get good weather condition and with parachute you jump and you sink all the way down. and for flying would not be perfect eighter that position aerodinamicly how ypu are in parachute. haha

This is a video that should not be broadcasted by mature pilots as this is setting an extremely bad example for our sport!
The best are the ones pushing the limits and advancing our sport. OK not everything the pioneers do is adventagous but without these type of people who push the limits of what is possible we wouldn't have the beautifully sport of paragliding.

By stepping on this step just before lunching they seriously onloading a wing so they risking a frontal just before lunch. Its a very stupid idea to lunch from this tower...

Aderly Sanchez Professional or not, the launch is dangerous and its only luck that nobody got hurt or worse. 'Pros' should know better to launch in such a turbulent zone. Beginners could watch this video then go and try to launch off an equally dumb spot.

I'm paraglider, I like adrenaline and yet this kind of video is a stupidity. Especially from the organizers.
We observe experts encounter many difficulties to take off, even with the departure of the cobra.
If it makes you laugh, why not, but do it between you and do not provoke the desire to less experienced pilots to do it by showing this kind of video. I'm not sure it's that great. I saw 2-3 takeoffs that went well, but it's more luck than control.
How much pilot dies for less than that. And who leaves their wife or husband with their children all alone.
Looks stupid. If the foils are kiting like THAT, you shouldn't be flying there. Is this a competition to see who it dumb enough to fly off that damned tower, or just to see who lives?
