Over a decade ago, I believe when I was 11, I once read this book called "Frosty the Deadman". The cover art depicted frosty as a hatchet-wielding serial killer, who I assumed targeted children.
I joked about it in High School as I got older, every Christmas season. They accused me of making an innocent cartoon character look bad, but I tried to tell them it was a reference to a story I read years ago, although sadly, I couldn't find any information about the book, and they accused me of being a liar.
Recently though, I have found a book with a similar title online, but it was not the same as the book I read when I was a young child. It was a murder mystery about a mayor nicknamed "Frosty" who is murdered with a snow globe.
I swore the book I read about Frosty as a serial killer was real. Whatever happened to it is truly unknown, and I really hope somebody manages to salvage a copy of it one day. Hopefully there wasn't anything sinister that may have caused it to be pulled from many libraries and never be heard of again.

i actually cried... turning something once happy and wholesome and making it sound so melancholic and sad... someone should definitely make a sad story animatic to this
What is crazy is that this is still played in a major cord, meaning it sounds like a “happy tune” but the slow and quiet mood makes it really depressing.

I am a little kid and I love to make snow man. I don't have any friends I just wait for winter to make snowman some says that I am mad because I try to talk with snowman.
This time I made the biggest snowman I have ever made. But no one can trust weather. Suddenly the day became hotter in afternoon and my snowman was melting in front of my eyes it was the biggest one I have ever made. As a child I started crying in front of snowman.
Looking towards my feet, covering my eyes with my hands I started crying. But a voice caught my attention "good bye".
I wasn't surprised but I was sad. No one will believe that I can talk with them.
Honestly i like the picture. The expression of the snowman as they melt and suffer is so clear and there is so much pain in it. There is even a "No please... I dont want to die", as they know they will die eventually and unevitably in the eyes of this snowman. I love it. Hope someone will make a animatic with them slowly, painfully dying

There was an old Soviet cartoon about a snowman helping to bring spring for his friends and dying/melting as a result. This picture and song remind me of it.

Wow - a sad version over a horror version this time; I do quite like it however. It almost sounds like the version they'd play if it were about a Snowman that has stood for decades, like during an ice age, and someone laments about how their grandparents, now long dead, built it when they were young.
The last vestiges of my childhood have been destroyed. I've never been happier.

For every action he made that harmed a soul, his coals would get just that little bit warmer until he made things right again.
One evening his chest got hotter, and hotter, and hotter until his coals began to slide down his front, making small streams as his body was eaten away like a wild beast was clawing at his front.
Frosty tried all he could, recalled every meeting and greeting he had or given the past week, but he could not think of what he could have done.
The coals glowed just as bright as sun from behind it's wispy cloud veil he looked upon as his form got smaller and smaller.
Not long after, all that remained was the crooked twigs of his arms, a small pile of stones, and an old and sodden bowler hat,
What did he even do though? If it was so tiny a thing that he couldn't even remember, it couldn't have been bad enough to be an immediate death sentence... ;w;
