So funny! A million years ago, when I would go out clubbing, I would bum a cigarette off somebody (I didn't/ don't even smoke) and walk through huge crowds. People got out of the way.
@@princesabonita79A week ago, we went to the beach. There were a few people there, so we set up a tent and got into it with the kids. We had fun almost alone until a family of 4 came and put their beach towel literally 2 feet away from us. I couldn't believe it. The whole beach was theirs to choose from, and they decided to sit right by our tent. I had to listen to endless "Mom! Mom! Mom!" not only from my kids but also from our unexpected neighbors' kids ))) Lol))

Out of things to list?! I have the opposite problem - I love the thrill of the hunt so much that my "death pile" grows so much faster than I can list. You've just motivated me to get to work! 😊
Yup, we need to list as much as we thrift. The hard truth about being a reseller. I can only get to the bins once a week, so I end up running out of stuff, unless a helpsy box arrives to say the day. I too love the thrifting part the best, so I get it. xo Quenby
@TheGratefulQueen great advice! You and Christina's listing challenge on her channel @stinaresells have inspired me to get to work. I can only get to the bins once in a while, so that helps. It's my difficulty staying away from yard & estate sales that often gets me overwhelmed with unlisted merch. 😂

Your bins etiquette wouldn't work at the busier Bin locations. At the one I go to, people flock to a new bin like sharks when there's blood in the water. People are practically on top of each other grabbing. I personally don't get into it. I wait until the frenzy ends and then I go look. I still find some great items. I wish our bins was less busy so we could all have a little space. Also just wanted to say, I really enjoy these 'long hauls'. While I'm listing, I watch and listen and sometimes even talk back to you. Thanks for the fun and informative content. 😀

yeah, that is what I mean, if it's a new bin coming out I expect a mad dash and for it to be crowded, but if it's just me at a bin, why come stand right next to me and reach over me? It makes no sense. It's one thing if we are friends and we are chatting, that can be fun. But this is strangers......weird right?

Charter club is a Dillard store brand . It sells decent .

Great video and haul! I’ve noticed my Spanx in smaller sizes sitting and not selling for as much so I have been passing on some styles. The large Spanx do better for me as do most brands in larger sizes. Loving the long videos!

Funny you mentioned comfy pants. Yes, I do that too as soon as I get home. There's a Danish word hygge that basically means all things cozy. I learned a new term this morning, hygge bukser which literally means "hygge pants" 😂😂.

People are on top of each other at the So Cal BINS and you can’t get around it but your BINS doesn’t seem that crowded - why do people do that ? I either stand my ground and use the cart to create some personal space or I just walk away 🛒 🛍️
Yeah, that is what I don't understand either. I expect it to be crowded when the new bins are rolled out. That's no problem. It's when I am the only person at a bin, and someone walks over and stands right next to me. It's like WHY?! I am a friendly person, so I don't mind normal closeness, esp if I am chatting with someone, but this is totally random strangers invading my space. I usually walk away too.

At my bins location in Kansas City, there is no personal space. Very rude and often an elbow in the face. You have to be in defensive mode the whole time! Not for the faint of heart! 😂
Jeeez! My bins was like that in the past. It was rough. There were often fights. People would steal out of your cart. Nowadays, with new management and staff, it is so chill and I love it! You do have to be tough tho the bins is not for wimps. ha ha ahxoxoox Q

Honestly, I don't think I could say that. I can stand my ground and not budge tho. There was one time I had to speak up because it was so over the top, but otherwise I just walk away.
I talked to a manager at a Goodwill 30 miles away in a different county from my house and said that each area that has different CEOs have different promotions and such. At that store if you get 100 points you get a coupon good for 35% off the entire store in the coupon is good for two months. My goodwill used to be one of the best Goodwill‘s in the whole area Northeast Ohio but then since the 2020 they raise their prices a lot and they took away the one dollar color of the week and only have a half price color but everything is marked up so much more that it’s hard to save anything but they recently changed their system and if you get 100 points you get five dollars off plus if you buy $30 a product you get an additional five dollars if you buy $60 you get 10 and if you buy $90 you get 15 off. Which technically is not too bad because you used to have to buy $100 in order just to get the five dollars but that still stands if you get 100 points you get the five dollars and if you buy $90 you get an extra 15 so you’re getting $20 off so I’m thinking that they’ve noticed after sales have gone that’s why they had to implement this secondary discount for free but I love your videos you rock
Very interesting. Yeah all the GWs are different. Mine did the same thing in 2019 and took away all sales. We had 99 cents day on Sunday and 50% off color tag of the week. I miss it! 😢

My charter club Cashmere sweaters consistently sell. So I always pick them up if I can get them for a cost of goods under $5. I have sold it new tags for $50 even. So I’ve never had a problem with that brand and the cashmere sweaters.
Also, in terms of the bins etiquette… I have to say that my one, and only time at the bins these people kept reaching over me and like pushing me out of the way so they could dig in the bins and it was very frustrating. So I don’t know if there is a real etiquette, but it sure didn’t happen that day. And it happened repeatedly with different people so…

Don’t come to the bins in Florida. There is no such thing as personal space. I talked to one lady in St Pete. She got hit in the head with a shoe and had to get stitches.
Oh my Gawd, stitches!!!! So, my bins was closed for 3 years and when it reopened it was pretty Mellow and I'm glad. In the past, years ago, it was rough. Lots of pushing and even fights.

Where I live people get too close snd also take things out of your hands. I'm always like "you are so rude" in their faces and they still stay there. I wish I could find half of the boho stuff you find. But after considering it, better not because I will have a new closet.
ah ha ha ha, I know, I keep a lot of the good boho stuff, which is a bad reseller habit. My bins does not sound as aggressive as yours. I have never had anyone take out of my hands, but there are a few women who seem to get uncomfortably close , not when a new bin comes out, I expect it then, but when there is plenty of room everywhere. its odd.
