I’m sorry this had to be your last interview bro and I hope your well man. My dad was starting to blow up during the same time as Selena was blowing up. He had his own group called “Peligro”. Even recorded with Freddie records and it sucks that he had thrown it all away because my big bro was born 😂. I almost think you could’ve met them at some point. We have old vhs clips just like these where my dad and his group were out in Corpus and what not. We’re from Lubbock,Texas so a little north towards panhandel but yeah bro, Selena almost comes across as family to me just because I relate to her life so much 💯

You know I was saying yesterday and this may be crazy but, although she was a singer, it’s amazing to think about how powerful it would have been for race relations if she had the chance to flourish over to English mainstream.
