I'm a VFX Artist that wanted to create my take on the backrooms and focus on levels and aspects aside from the simple roaming around level 0 after just no clipping. This takes place after being stuck in the Backrooms for years, and 'the way out' is discovered.

Finally someone who shows level 94 and includes the cartoony music that plays throughout the day. This level has interested me intensely from the first time I saw the picture and read the description. Now I wanna see the animations and I wanna see the king so bad. Awesome job bro bro.

My favorite type of liminal space. Simple, vibrant & grassy landscapes, made out of 90s/2000s cgi. It reminds me of all the kid's shows and video games I saw when I was 2-7 years old.

Level 94 is actually terrifying to me simply because it breaks all the laws of reality by just EXISTING. It feels like an utterly cursed and distorted version of our world.

This looks like how shows for very young children portray the world and probably how many children at that age imagine the world to look like, or atleast they see places like these in their dreams because of these shows. That all gives this a very weird nostalgic, surreal and dream-like feeling. Like the shows from your earliest childhood suddenly became real.
Fantastic execution of this place!! I really really liked the lack of entities, and instead the level itself is the danger. Very interesting, hope you continue with this theme!

For those of you who didn’t understand what happened, let me break it down to you in time stamps, and explanations.
1:22- In day time this level is safe. We can know it’s day time by the cartoony music in that siren thingy. If it’s night time the cartoony music stops, and an entity called an “animation” will try to find you and hunt you down. (They are like stop motion figures.)
2:48- He went to the king’s castle, and the king will make him face his own fears. If he succeed in facing his fears, the king will send out a bright white light and whoever touches the king’s light, will get to leave this level.
Good thing you didn't see those stop motion entities. Or was that them in some way at the end. lol. Nice work man, I love what you're doing.

I like the cartoon music and the breathing in the background, the breathing shows you the anxiety the person is feeling and the music shows you level 94 is like a cartoon level

wanderers should try to be hidden during the night on this level because the entities known as "animations" will attack the wanderers and turn them into one. it's totally not safe to stay outside during night time on this level. wanderers gotta try and hide inside those houses and rest cautiously.

@@pOrTiAaHuMaNbEiNg While having no clipped into this level, the entities known as "animations" are active and hostile at peak during the night time and they are typically seen wandering outside these houses in packs or just one of 2 at a time looking for other different entities or wanderers to beat them up into a pulp. So it's better to hide inside one of those houses temporarily and cautiously. I mean if YOU want to make it easy peasy for those animation entities to find you and turn you into one of them, then feel free to stay outside those houses during night time on level 94 of the backrooms and let them turn you into one of them

what would make this place scarier is if the houses don't have an interior, only just a house shaped box with nothing inside them and a non functional house features(like the door)

I was in a place like this once in a dream, with the hills and the houses. The sun/light turned off exactly like that, and it scared me so bad literally just fell flat on my back like a ton of bricks and stayed there. The second the light turned off there was a screech from somewhere and some human mumbling noises. All I remember is I felt like I had been seen and I bolted. I was able to run in some direction and it eventually changed levels or something.
But you can only experience backrooms in dreams of you ever come to a backrooms familiar level your probably in the backrooms

i dont know if it actually works or not but i guess it works in this backrooms level. woah
It works, but each level experiences the flow of time differently. some faster than others, and some slower. You won't come back out of any level at the same time when you left to said level. So let's say you enter level 0 and come out, let's go with 10 hours later. You would come out probably 7-8 hours instead of 10 in real time. Hope that helps

ever been to the cookie cutter neighborhoods in the west coast? I grew up out here and one night I found myself wondering the neighborhoods as a teenager in highschool. It was a late and I think the sky was covered with a thin layer of clouds to where all you could se was one endless cloud. I found myself in what must have been close to the middle of this neighborhood where every house is one of 3 different models and every street looks the same. I have to admit I was a bit panicked for awhile, until i finally came across the main road that leads through the entire neighborhood. I think that experience is the source of some of my nightmares.
