This was a really good recap, but I'm somewhat done with Classroom of The Elite after this season. For 3 seasons, Ayanokoji has seen no character development at all. Either he is lying to himself that he wants a normal school life for the 3 years he has, or he's just been following the programming of that centre without actually wanting to change. He's had multiple opportunities to see value in friendship and camaraderie, but the anime keeps undermining any meaningful relationships he has in the favour of making him look more and more like a badass manipulator. Which is nonsensical because that is in direct opposition to his goal. The anime doesn't seem to care, though, and I, for one, choose not to anymore, as well. Such a story with so much potential, and yet, they squandered it by including those awful monologues.

In season 3, it was pretty much granted tho. Next season mc won't hide his skills and inevitably be friends with bunch of people. There were several occasions where the mc said something along the lines of "maybe I'll show myself more" in his monologue. I don't like the harem creation but I'll watch the 4th season just to see what's really gonna change in his social identity. It will be enjoyable in a cliche way.

Appreciate this recap especially with how confusing the series can be, new characters and difference from the light novel

Personally I really enjoyed this Season. Im a anime only to be fair but I see alot of LN readers complaining about stuff they didn't add but I think if they added all the monologs it would have dragged on. Usually when a series gets a adaptation from a novel they usually dont have all the details because they have to cut out certain stuff to fit it in the time span. Usually most anime comes from Manga so they dont have to worry about it. Although I do wish they added some more monologs to the story I still think Season 3 was really good.

I’m a LN reader and tbh most people who complain about the cut content are toxic asf and don’t understand why the anime exists, the anime gets the job done and it’s still fun to watch even if it tells the story in a different way, the cut content for S3 wasn’t that bad anyways.

I possess this peculiar tendency where I feel compelled to watch something until its completion. While the first season of this particular show was impressive, the second season was merely satisfactory. Upon examining the manga and its recap, I immediately sensed that this anime was deteriorating in quality. Is it plausible for anyone to be more intelligent than Ayanakoji in this universe? It seems rather implausible to transform a regular human into a superhuman with an unrealistic IQ. Considering his upbringing, it is more likely that his IQ would decrease in the whiteroom due to the absence of social interactions and the inability to form emotional connections with parents or friends. In such a confined environment, where escape is impossible until the completion of training, exhaustion would be inevitable, and forcing them to continue would yield no positive results. In fact, the opposite would occur. However, if the whiteroom took in orphans and provided them with training, along with 3-5 hours of rewards before bedtime and 2-3 hours upon waking up, accompanied by an "ideal mother and father figure," perhaps this approach could be effective. Nevertheless, there are too many variables to consider. It is true that children between the ages of 5 and 12 possess remarkable learning capabilities, but accelerating the process through an intensive training program could potentially yield positive outcomes. However, subjecting them to physical abuse, training them to fight, kill, and manipulate others would undoubtedly result in violence. The only thing Ayanokoji would ever hold dear is his pencil, and the desk and chair he occupies serve as his safe haven. The concept of the whiteroom could have been presented differently, perhaps as a special program that nurtures infants from the age of 1 to 14, providing them with all their basic needs such as love, food, water, education, companionship, and advanced education in a balanced manner. What if Ayanokoji was simply the most exceptional individual in the whiteroom, where the other children's IQs ranged from 100 to 110 at best? Placing him in a high school where everyone has a life, socializes, and possesses a desire to improve their future and compete would realistically result in Ayanokoji being treated as inferior. Perhaps his fighting skills could still be relevant, but his intellect... he could probably go through high school with ease with his educational skills and advancement in what the white room taught him. But he would be a blank canvas painted and marked on and being used.
In the first episode of season 1, there is a scene where he is seen on the train. Reflecting on this moment, he chose to remain silent and observe, perhaps in an attempt to display intelligence. However, anyone can stay quiet on a train and watch others. He observes the situation with Kenji without saying a word, prompting me to question why he chose to do so. Could it be that the white room taught him effective methods to prevent or stop altercations? If he simply sits there without speaking or providing a statement to either of the two individuals, then he lacks strategy. If one cannot think of ways to de-escalate a situation, how can they accurately determine the right time to act? Manipulating someone requires understanding what they want, what they need, and how to use their desires against them. If Ayanokoji is a sociopath, then he may not possess the ability to manipulate others effectively. Instead, the writers may have simply given him a plot without much depth, turning him into a character used solely for advancing the story, which ultimately makes him uninteresting and simply put boring.
