The festival is holi is celebrated in the end of winter in Fagun ma's as per the hindi calendar which is March its date is not fixed so it keeps changing every year . We get a maximum od 3days holiday for holiday not a week .
And one more thing to add holiday is not a dangerous festival. Ya it may scare some people cuz not everyone likes colors but overall its totally safe most colors used for playing holi are Gulaal which is like a dry power form of colors .

Yes before travelling in india people need to study about india first rather than travelling less developed area ask indian first what places are popular to visit i would reccomend goa,kerala,ooty,darjeeling,sikkik,ladakh and many more

It is not their fault. In South Korea, different shades especially the darker ones are very hard to get. Almost non existent.
