In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. - Komedie
I like that the older gents went with a more traditional form of vandalism, whilst the younger generation just fucked it up.
Yeah but.. not very creative to just destroy it. 😅
Metaphor innit
There is no one else that would write "street tough" other than Mike Wozniak.
Or even Mike Wozniak!
@@YvonneWilson312 Lmao
In such beautiful writing too!
@@YvonneWilson312 oh my goodness...hahhahaa....I can't believe I wrote Wazowski. Lol
@@dennysingh2813 Easily done!
Taskmaster has to seriously be one of my favorite shows ever.
Also, "Epic!" "Yeah, it hit me in the dick"
Jamali stamping on things could be an entire video series at this point XD
Hate his dummy actions
@@priceandpride TV make me angy >:(
if he started with that he coulda won imo
He learned it worked, looked amusing, and was fun. So he kept at it. I mean, when else would you have the opportunity to just stomp on shit to solve things, without having to pay afterwards?
Comes natural to him
I like how Lee and Mike didn't even bother with wearing the jumpsuits.
Were they even provided with any? I thought maybe they went first and then the producers realised how messy their clothes got so gave the other team jumpsuits, but they looked pretty clean.
I like how Jamali reused his infamous paint stomping technique lol
Jamali stomped on something in every task this episode. Including the live task.
Which makes me wonder: If during the prize task, when he was talking about children who annoy him....
this is one of those tasks where the outcome hinges exactly on what definition of one word is
Actually, I think there's two words that can have very different definitions in there. Personally, I'd give the three the win here as I'd define vandalism as destruction or defacing property (which both did) but I think the three were more creative as the two tried to copy Banksy whereas I interpreted creativity in this context to relate to originality. Not that the three's work was very original, it was kinda just pure, mindless destruction but you could really argue for either team here
The task was "most creative vandalism wins". The team of three were funny but not very creative.
@djpunyer8762 They came up with more different and unique methods of vandalism whereas the others just painted a picture. To me that was more creative but if you define creative as coming up with an interesting concept the guys were nice creative. But I was very surprised when they won by so much cause it wasn't a great execution imo.
This is the Lock Picking Lawyer, and today the Taskmaster has presented me this pathetic challenge lock that has just disassembled itself in my hands. I will now exit the stage because that was the only part of the task that mattered to me.
I remembered all the stomping in the filmed tasks but completely forgot that Jamali stomped on something in the live task too.
Is destruction the opposite of creativity, or is it just sometimes the first step?
By definition, opposite.
@@michaelstephenson4755 I'd say destruction is the opposite of creation but not creativity
This is one of those team tasks that had too big of a point split. I agree with the duo winning, but the trio deserved more than 1 point
Nothing about what the trio was even slightly creative. They just damaged it in various ways
@@skrimper i'd argue that the initial ripping of the wall was a more creative act than simply picking up the spray paints. the destruction birthed something new that incorporates the canvas into the finished piece rather than a mere background to a shitty banksy (although let's be honest, banksy makes enough shitty banksy art himself). i will agree that street tough is a simply fantastic tag and wonderful turn of phrase.
I've passed stool more creatively than what those 3 did
@@videodeck I agree. The techniques were more creative. But it wasn't structured.
@@skrimper It is more creative than recreating an existing piece of art/vandalism... the group of two just copied (poorly) banksy. How is that creative?
S11 is so damn good, Mike is a national treasure.
ITS THE WORST ONE. call ya self a fan?
@@SoSo-li6dn Guess that kind of depends on what you expect from the show.
@@SoSo-li6dn Good justification you provided there.
@@SoSo-li6dn L take -2 Mike carries the season alone
@@SoSo-li6dn your parents must be disappointed
It would have been so cool if they just ripped the wall down and started a campfire with it
no, it wouldn't have been cool at all -- it would have been stupid
Team A: Arts and Crafts
Team B: Rage Room
Thanks to this task, I now use ‘street tough’ in my daily vocabulary, it really is a sweet tag :)
Tick tock,
it's street tough o'clock.
Be aware of street toughs by the newsagent
My friends and I had been using "street toughs" for a number of years now, for reasons that probably only they and I would find amusing.
assuming you use it when you take a trip to get night time milk
@@MontyMonferno Yeah, basically. A number of years ago, there was a documentary about an American actor named Mario Lopez, who is from my hometown, Chula Vista; a quiet, unremarkable suburb of San Diego in southern California. The documentary tried to make it seem like he had a tough childhood, and described him as having grown up on "the mean streets of Chula Vista," which we found hilarious, since there's nothing "mean" about a town that's mostly shopping malls and taco shops. So after we saw that, we would describe literally anyone we saw walking down the street as being "street toughs."
Jamali spent this entire episode stamping on things and it somehow worked for him
I think we can all agree that we would allow Charlotte Ritchie to vandalise our own house walls
eye don't know about anyone else but this is kind of a dream job - i would love for someone to hand me a wall to do as i wished!
I needed this. Having a rough day. 😥😮💨 Thanks TM.
no one asked
@@ade138_3 damn lmao
Chin up mate, take care.
My first thought was to start putting holes in it then I realised that's the opposite of "creative"
Fantastic task.
I loved this task
"Most creative vandalism wins"
- Yeah let's just destroy the wall then
Re watched this episode last night funnily enough 😁
"Epic!"
Alternate title: Jamali got hit in his weewee and only got one point.
Not sure why wouldn't just start brute forcing it from 1950 onwards once you heard MCML-something. It would probably have taken less time than it would trying to do the maths or whatever.
I think that every time a task uses one of these locks. They're incredibly easy to brute force, especially once you've got a starting point like that.
Most people don't know Roman numerals, esp not L
And why did my mind goes straight to peeing on the wall?!
EPIC!!
How can it be creative vandalism if they're just copying Banksy?
This was my favourite group in task master.
This was just a test to check if one of them was banksy
This version of the theme song reminds me so much of Red Dwarf.
Is this task inspired by Alex tricking Noel Fielding into spray painting his shed?
The math 🤣😂
Now clean the wall.
Pleasing to see that these comedians are equally as inept at math as I am.
Maths!
@@Zippy66 I think some dreadful collonial type has been watching this video.
@@Tao_Tology It's shocking isn't it. Those collonials really need to teach people to spell.
@@Zippy66 I hear they've started printing their own 'money' as well.
What is it with BBC CZcams channels where the thumbnail and title only apply to a small portion of the video? It's like if I had a video called "Breakfast Time W/ Snoop Dogg" and only about 2 minutes of it featured breakfast or Snoop Dogg, and the rest was about the rise and fall of Rome.
No cars driving into the all? No axe rage? Usually some of the contestants have a more...aggressive approach to stuff
If it was vandalize instead of creatively vandalize they might have had a case.
It would be fun to be on this show, although at times probably infuriating.
Greg Davies just doesn't appreciate modern art
In tasks where you're competing alone, has anyone just not read the task out for everyone else? Or made the task up to mislead the others? So only they know what the task even is?
I think one team did vandalism and they other graffiti.
I feel like it should have been the other way around.the group of three used different techniques, textures, materials and was overall more abstract- I turn more creative while the other teach just used some paint, outline and an already existing artwork as reference.
It was about creativity, the trio did nothing creative. Just harmed the wall in more ways
Clearly, Greg was intimidated by the Street Toughs who did that artwork.
OMG, you are wrong -- destruction is NOT creative -- LoL @ they destroyed it in different ways, so that's creative
@@firstname4337 you should see how creative I am with my garbage! Sometimes I burn it, sometimes i recycle and sometimes i turn it into fertilizer/soil. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
epic
this is a task they should have given Guz Khan, he'd somehow have done it better
1968!
Yea, I would wear a t-shirt that said “Alex Horne is a _ _ _” on the front and “Street Tough” on the back. Where is the Taskmaster merch?
The point was to be creative, not destructive
Sad how they don't understand the word Vandalism.
I wouldn't want to get on Jamali's bad side.
No one is going to talk about how Lee Mack and Mike Wozniak essentially created a man bleeding between his legs on a wall and called him Alex? Or am I the only one that noticed? Kinda odd how Greg didn't comment on it...
I think Vandalize is a key word here but also the task never uses the term "graffiti." The team of three obviously "destroys or damages" (definition of vandalize) better than the team of two. The team of two actually ONLY utilizes ONE tool to vandalize, paint. Where the team of three uses various tools. So the team of three only getting one point feels wrong.
Creative. That was the key word. The group of 3 just behaved like thugs destroying the wall. The group of 2 Vandalized by creativity.
Who has Banksy on speed dial?
Jamali stomp
I've watch series 11 and don't recognize this stuff. Anyone know if they were deleted scenes?
No, they were definitely in the episode, but you may have forgotten because it was the Absolute Casserole episode.
This isn’t vandalism, they have permission to do it. It’s not really malicious if someone says you can do it, is it?
Should have been fairly easy once he said it was his birthday. It's going to be 19__ and then do the math for the last digit,8. Then cycle thru the 9 digits
And why can we not buy that T shirt i mean it would be a good seller
Is it creative to literally copy the most well known graffiti artist of all time?
they obviously did not "literally" copy it -- there was no girl holding a balloon on that wall
Copy the most popular piece of art in Britain or damage everything. The former won "most creative"? Bad decision imo
Look it's the results of common core math 😂😂
