Unless you work remotely, don't look so far away from Washington, DC. Driving from Manassas to Washington, DC is not feasible on a daily basis. Also avoid Sterling, Woodbridge, Ashburn or Leesburg. Note that you can also consider Montgomery County Maryland, which will be significantly less expensive for the same home and closer to Washington, DC, e.g., Silver Spring, MD, Rockville, MD. Bethesda and Potomac Maryland will be the same price as Arlington or other expensive parts of VA.
