Best part of that event is it is never highly attended so you can get the currency pretty fast.
4th way. Farming the fuel refining platforms with a tier 1 and tier 2 permit. especially when you can join a fuel train with a dozen or more players all using their permits. you'll net a reasonably large reward of acid and fuel each refinement session, not to mention farming all the spawining mob blue elites for loots and xp rewards.

People mention a perk that offers silver to acid production. i still haven't found that one or ever heared from anyone that they got it. might be an urban legend.
