I'm in my second semester of nursing school and I already know bedside is not something I want to do forever. Really want to be a CRNA. So that's what I'm shooting for. By the time I'm 40 I should be done 😂. Keep going. Stay positive even when things get tough. Some ppl don't have the same opportunity or mindset to elevate their selves. So I always say I'm blessed! I’ve been a med/surg nurse for 16 years and it’s insanely tough work. My recommendation is to take a training position for ICU asap-even if it means going to another state for the training. I work in California and the hospitals in the Bay and Sacramento area very rarely offer training positions for growth.

Honestly, I don’t know how you did 16 years, but I commend you for it. It’s so crazy, but I’m getting my experience here for a little, then I’m applying for the ICU. How is the nurse patient ratio in Cali?

    • @rw4022
