🙏sir my 3rd house is moon, 9th house is cancer. Recently met a guy for 2nd marriage, during d 1st meet, while talking abt problems in past marriage, my eyes got watery n same happened wid him too. During d 2nd meet, he did some emotional talks. But later he denied for me, (saying he wants to marry a gal frm financially low background), although I really liked him..

I think I know the answer of why cancer lagna or moon in ascendant has to live two lives. It is becoz moon also died due to Brahma's / Prajapati's curse when jyestha the eldest wife of moon complained to her father Brahma/Prajapati that her husband moon spent more time with her sister Rohini who was another wife of moon and that moon ignored the rest of his 26 wives and did not give his time to them as a dutiful husband. So when the curse started to take shape, all the 27 wives understood it's a bad curse and they desire their husband moon to be alive. So finally shiva comes to their rescue and shiva by putting moon in his head and giving him new life modifies the death curse by giving moon death and life through moon's waxing waning cycles.
Another story is also of ganesha and how he cursed moon to die because he mocked and laughed at ganesha when ganesha fell down from his small mount mouse while ganesha being a heavy bodied deity and consequently breaking one of his tusks from the accident. Seeing the inappropriate insult by moon, ganesha curses moon but moon again requests ganesha to modify the curse, so ganesha modifies the curse on seeing moon's genuine repentance and prevents his death by giving him waxing waning cycles.
