I am a Chinese-Canadian and I appreciate that you differentiated the Chinese people from the regime. Some of us could be offended by the previous video because we are not accustomed to the satire genre. But I think your apology is sincere and I hope other Chinese can agree with me too. SVT is state-governed socialist television by a hefty amount of leftism, activism, political correctness and fake "progressive social science" or whatever to call bullshit like gender-crap and feminism lies and excuses for foreign criminals for instance. Of course in an actual (negatively) free society with freedom of speech you would be allowed to say whatever regardless of intent including for comedic (or completely failing at that) purposes. But since Sweden isn't one and they are so uptight and outright lie otherwise because of fear over how it would affect the perceived image of other people groups this is kinda weird. But I assume that's simply because what he said in the first show is true (and still, it's weird how that show was part of their program content); it's not ok for them to make fun of black people or Muslims but somehow of Chinese people. Part of that reason may be that people in Europe really have no negative view of Chinese people and like in this case all that shit talk was just made up behavior which isn't true and hence no reason to dislike Chinese people for whereas for some other groups of people there is negative behavior which is real and is negative and known and well .. They want none of that. The general negative view of China is regarding human rights and government and not the people and as such maybe it was easier. These kind of people think it's fine to trash-talk and discriminate white/European/heterosexual/... people as groups as well, likely for that reason too. They are supposed to be strong enough knowing they aren't trash or whatever. Japanese people are the most welcomed in the world able to visit 190 different countries without getting a visa first or allowed to apply for one at arrival with their passports. Anything "bad" I can think of when it comes to Japanese people are the weird stuff they consume and if that's all you can come up with they are likely doing very well =P I wouldn't like the Chinese government but I also wouldn't like the Swedish one and for just the same reasons in both cases (economical socialism and politicians interfering with how things are run and how people live their lives.) I have no negative idea about the people of China though. And I'm fine being "racist." You can see more about that how our previous/right now current and possible future prime-minister didn't wanted to call Saudi Arabia a dictatorship but whining about Russia, China and North Korea is fine. It's hard to see how Russia is worse than Saudi Arabia. Then again the USA has also been fine with Saudi Arabia for oil reasons. USA may claim democracy or human rights reasons but it's all bullshit. It's economical reasons and they are fine with dictators as long as they keep the wheels turning. Of course China will get the same treatment. If China ruled the world economy completely they would get away with doing things others wouldn't get away with. In the case of Russia I believe it's mostly our progressive media not liking the more conservative eastern nations and wanting to spread fear of something else than Muslims and immigration and give people something else to focus on.

The Swe - Rus relation is, let's just say not super friendly (just to name something, Russia likes to provoke us using planes and submarines where we don't want them). A lot of jokes in Sweden revolve around russians, you can just have a look at Tingaliin, a song mocking russia in all its forms (Which is straight fire btw :D ) that was broadcast on national television. While I agree Taiwan has a similar effect, Russia is more relateable to more people who watched the programme when it aired. Oh and also, watch out for the russki bots that might very well sweep through comment sections like these. They're everywhere.

In Sweden we have since a couple years ago a lot more broad meaning of sexual assault in the lawbook and thus more acts are classified as rape, that means there will be more rape charges. We also nowadays have a lot more help for the victim and now more people do step forward and open an investigation about the crime and then because of that reason too there will be a lot more rape charges. Stop spreading facts you don't really understand, this is what I hate about social media everyone belives everything they read without fact checking anything..
