Yeah, stripped is just her and either a guitar or a piano, usually piano, but once in a while a guitar. Her stripped versions are amazing, I actually prefer them as sometimes the production and other instruments actually take away from what her voice can do. The title is great for this one, as many have said the same as the two of you, that being born without a heart would be awful, but as you hear the lyrics you understand that she wasn't born without one, just that the hurt and pain that someone has put her through has made her that way. She is a very deep writer with her lyrics, each song has more than just words on a page meaning to them. She is a very empathetic writer, where she can completely put herself in the shoes of the one she is describing, as she has stated she has not been through these situations herself. The one called You Don't Even Know Me, that was written after she heard little whispers of things going around campus about her at college, and Bad Dreams she wrote when she was 14 after having some nightmares, but a lot comes from her being able to empathize very well with others and their situations. Enjoy listening to more of her songs and discovering her sound! ♥♥♥

And I just gotta say one thing, one line in the song I tend to find saddening when someone takes on that mentality. The "I'd rather be heartless than to have my heart broken in pieces." I personally tend to lean on the side of, " I'd rather feel pain, than nothing at all" !!! Reason being, a broken 💔 or shattered heart, can always be mended ❤️🩹 with love 🏩💓💞! Heartless actions usually tend to reap more misery. It's always best to lead, and follow with the heart! Just make sure the brain and gut are connected too for fail safes🙄🤔😏❤️🔥😉👍! Just saying, not trying to take away from anything, just trying to add my opinion 😏, and as always, AOAFEPO 💯🚌💨💨💨💨
For Faouzia when there is a Stripped or acoustic version, I recommend reacting to those, as to me they are far superior to the overproduced studio version.
I prefer the stripped version which came out before this
