That is utter garbage. Data from CoStar, the US real estate analytics company shows that 17.3% of all office space in New York is empty, compared with 8.5% in London. CoStar expects that the vacancy gap between the two cities will continue to widen. By 2026, it estimates that almost 20% of all office space in New York will be empty. A major problem is that a lot of new York office space is old, outdated and does not provide the range of amenities that modern office workers expect and demand.
