The biological son of King Charles and Queen Camila has appeared, this is truly shocking news for the world. Recently, an unknown man claimed to be blood related to the king and queen of the United Kingdom, in turn expressing dissatisfaction with William's position and showing sympathy for Harry. Not stopping there, this man also challenged the royal family to play the DNA game to overthrow the long-standing tradition of the monarchy, threatening the existing position of senior royal members. Why shouldn't they do the DNA? If you have nothing to hide prove it.
Why doesn't he "do" the DNA himself? You can prove relationships without having the parents' DNA through common ancestors. He could at least prove that he is related somehow to the Shand family through cousin relationships. It's what people of unknown parentage do to find the identity of their parents. Yet, it seems he has not done so. Why not? All he has to do is subscribe to Ancestry, MyHeritage and/or other Ancestry websites (as I have - I have an unknown great great grandfather). That would cost a lot less than a worldwide tour of tge Commonwealth or upping stixks and moving to the UK. Then he could publish his findings for all to see. He has either failed to exercise sufficient due diligence so far to be taken seriously or is not convinced that his claim has any merit.

As an American via England, I think that since DNA is available, they should be checked. I believe the Monarchy (I love them; don't get me wrong) but this type of thing has happened all the time during their 1000 year reign. They should make it straight. Just my opinion.
I agree they should confirm one way or the other. However, if DNA proves he is William and Harry's older half-brother, it still does NOT change P.William being tje rightful heir to the throne. I have yet to see (let alone read) illegitimate children reigning over the monarchy, and there are centuries old of people's before this man, on both sides of the "pond" who could have stepped up / in before Queen Elizabeth, let alone King Edward to rule if that were the case
