Hope you guys aren't homophobic. Most of Ptx's fans are very protective of Mitch & Scott, who are 2 of the most wonderful human beings ever.
In their most recent originals album, Kirstin has several songs where she is the "lead" singer. Also, you should check out "Shallow" - Kirstin KILLS IT, & shows off her range!
This is two songs that were huge hits for K-pop global sensation BTS. "Butter" and "Dynamite" both broke records for weeks at the top of the US charts and number of downloads. "Dynamite" has over a billion YT views (that's Billion) and "Butter" 900 million. BTW, this video is notorious for being hard to unblock, possibly because both BTS and PTX labels are involved, which I suspect is why you had to chop it up.
Ill never understand why people skip forward on the videos! Drives me crazy!!

I don't think you realize what Kirstie is doing. What she does to fill in the background is technically very difficult to do clean. Also the trademark sound of Pentatonix depends on the Mitch/Kirstie combination. If either one left, the band would be done.
Also, it's my understanding that Kirstie mainly joined the group because it was an opportunity for the world to hear Mitch's voice. It wasn't for the lead. Supporting Mitch was her goal.
Now if you see them live you can tell that she isn't holding back at all any more. Her voice is crazy and she definitely shows it off.
if you want edgy......you might wanna check out their latest original that was released called "I Rise" because it's quite gritty.....it's mostly Scott but man does he bring the fire.
