Kaeya is actually so fun to play. Such an underrated unit in freeze comps. I sometimes just transplant all my Ayaka artifacts and Mistsplitter unto him, just to see him destroy everything he comes across. Immensely satisfying, really want to C6 him one day.
I have his C6, he always has his burst basically.
I tried R5 Amenoma too and it gets full burst instantly after bursting lol.
@@cunnyman dayum, amenoma kageuchi is really an underrated weapon. i use it on my jean and it works really well even at r2. the thing is i hate farming those amethyst lumps 😞

I decided to actually farm for proper EM mainstat VVs around a month ago. It drastically changed my view on the strength of taser Sucrose as I've been using it along with Melt Rosaria to clear Floor 12 since then.

@@IDonowot2do it's a myth. I got 4 crit circlet with crit subs, not once I get circlet EM main stats. I even got anemo goblet with a decent substat, and no goblet em either. i end up using one off piece and one 4 stars.

I have only like three elemental mastery pieces on the VV set and they're all goblets. However, I have so much EM main stat artifacts on the Emblem of Severed Fate set. RnG just really fucks you up oftentimes lol.
I love using double pyro and double geo with Ningguang, it's basically just an unga bunga random sht go brrrr team. I do have a well-invested c6 Ningguang tho so if you don't feel like building her she can also be a geo resonance/ttds/healer amber slot for other geo carry.
Same here! I literally got zhongli specifically for her. She is so easy to play and powerful.

@@sardiniapiedmont i have both and i find them for different purposes tbh. I rarely put them together even for mono geo. I usually put albedo for my double geo/anemo xiao while Ningguang to be a geo carry with double pyro.
Best team for electro artifact domain.
I was also shocked that Ningguang wasn’t featured more, she’s the star of 4* comps to me!
Over my time playing this game, I learned, yeah getting the five stars is a luxury but there's such a satisfaction building up the four stars who happen to be good supports or happen to have a flexible built unlocked by giving them a different weapon, artifact set or getting their constellations overtime.
With my alt, I love using the Freeze or Superconduct comps since I have a Ganyu there. Meanwhile in my main, I LOVE OVERLOAD because I have Bennett and an electro unit as a constant in my teams!

One team I've been toying with has been Noelle, Gorou, Yun Jin and Fischl. Fischl and Yun Jin at C6 have good synergy together since Oz fires a shot when you attack and Yun Jin increases your normal attack speed. Gorou and Noelle are a solid damage carry. Normally Noelle's shield has downtime even if she's on field as a DPS but the Electro from Fischl can easily give you plenty of Crystalize shields in combination with Noelle's burst to bridge the gap.
In that team comp, tenacity of melilith on Fischl works really well.
@@iturnedmypikachuintoararec4846 That's basically all I ever run on Fischl anymore. I was running Emblem of Severed Fate for a while to keep up time on Oz at 100% but I found I never really needed it.

He was my first triple crowned lvl 90 character, and I even got a Wolf Gravestone by accident very early on the game!
He carried me through the entire game alongside Diona and I saw him falling behind in terms of DPS and efficiency in time related challenges (abyss), so I relayed on meta teams.. but I hope someday I can use him again in the Abyss, the enemies aren't helping AT ALL! xD

use burst electro razor on the first half...he can deal 100-200k dmg in a few seconds he's on the filed which is neat and dropping him here and there to do his c4 shred helps the team too. I usually pair him with barbara with ttds and kazuha which helps his electro dmg go through the roof..the other slot is usually another electro unit like fischl, beidou, yae, raiden etc or any sub dps unit tbh

Everytime taser with Sucrose as a driver is mentioned I'm very happy. This team is just so broken when it comes to damage, not to mention incredibly fun because the screen is just exploding with double swirls and electrocharge.
Thank you, for real I think it's underappreciated, plus taser sucrose doesn't just stop there, you can even expand it to sukokomon or even use albedo to shave off some EC aura for sucrose to get double swirls every 2s

Some of my favourite teams include:
Cryo Kaeya with Chongyun, Yun Jin and usually Sayu for VV. Rosaria can replace Kaeya here.
Barbara taser where she holds the Hakushin Ring, with Fischl and Beidou and either Sucrose or Rosaria as the 4th slot (for crit, partial freeze, and Clam set Phys shred)

@@cazzie_dy Do you have C2 Chongyun? The cooldown reduction is great. Anemo traveler can of course use Viridescent Venerer instead of Sucrose, Xingqiu is also amazing, Bennett of course for Fischl and Beidou to snapshot
@@cazzie_dy by the way, I like using Barbara, but Xingqiu does more damage, no doubt. An alternative could be Xingqiu Fischl Beidou Sayu (for VV and healing)

Thats what I said...Ive only been playing a couple months but every team comp video is either A.) the new guy slotted in the national team or B.) three five stars and whatever character theyre explaining; its like these video creators think every player has been playing genshin since day one and remembered to roll on every single banner and won every fifty fifty..so yeah this video is super helpful
As the player who don't have many 5 star, The 4 star comps that I often to use are
Noelle(C1)/Yunjin(C1)/Xiangling(C4)/Bennet(C1) and Yanfei(C2)/Xingqiu(C0)/Diona(C6)/Sucrose(C2)
Even I haven't C6 them all, I love using these teams
Diona c6 is really good especialy with xiangling and sucrose
I main Yanfei because her playstyle is just the perfect one for me.
I support her with clam set Kokomi and Zhongli. So I can deal Geo dmg (pillar), Hydro dmg (jellyfish) and physical dmg (foam pop) and Pyro dmg at once. Not to forget 100% shield uptime, constant hydro enabler, immortality and all around vape. She's pretty much my homemade Pyro Archon.
Who is your fourth team member? I have all those characters and I was thinking of if i should take Yanfei out of my team lmao

This team is tanky aswell with all the dmg reduction , shield and Beidou counter
Shes super fun...I need that C4 constellation, its the shield one I believe, but I have her supped up more than any other character because I love her playstyle and damage
@@xienRawat Yeah Beidou is like the perfect partner for certain characters like Yangfei...and a catalyst DPS doesn't have to worry about overload like a melee character does
Something important to add about Taser is that even though there isn't a healer(and personally I'm not entirely comfortable with it because I suck at this game 😅), there's a TON of damage reduction to go around. Xingqiu's rain swords and Beidou's burst are generally enough to over half the damage. Obviously the no healer concern is amplified when you fight enemies like rifthounds, but otherwise if you're able to dodge a good portion of the hits you take, it shouldn't be a big concern.
another way to circumvent this is by bringing a ptototype amber r5 on sucrose..lowering her swirl dmg a bit but now we got surviveability..just gotta make sure her ER is enough
If needing a healer is a concern, replace Sucrose with Barbara. You won't kill enemies quite as fast but your survivability goes up quite a bit. The Barbara version ain't no slouch either especially if she's equipped with 4pc clam. This is the team I currently use for the clam domain as well since I suck at dodging the wolves while I use the standard Sucrose version everywhere else especially the VV set domain which I can consistently beat in 30-40 seconds despite having everyone at lvl 80.
Kuki means problem solved? Maybe I don't know but you could play her and Kokomi is hydro I believe as well..Id say Barbara but I hate using Barbara
@@bubbag02 I hate using Barbara because any time you play a against a cryo unit she pre- wets my characters for the Cyro units to freeze...which is beyond annoying but yeah clamshells really help make strong healers like Barbara awesome
@@bubbag02 also qiqi w/ 4pc clam would prob be better than barbara, bcuz the electro characters make it so that she's able to proc superconduct and get more dmg out of her bubbles
the (tired of national) is so relatable tbh
it sounds impressive at first, hearing about a team that doesn't use any hypercarries. But hearing/seeing it over and over again made me tired, especially since i'm not a fan of Xiangling's playstyle (love her character though)
I really appreciate the existence of this video because I was JUST thinking about 4-star only teams that weren't national, taser, or reverse melt(since they are typically the most used for 4-star only abyss runs) and I was happy to see teams that I didn't even realize were viable 😭
I love that Overload was mentioned, because my strongest team is an overload/reaction team consisting of Yae Miko, Fischl, Yanfei, and Jean. My Bennet isn't leveled up right now, so I don't have him in the team, but I heard he works great with certain characters.
I'm a Klee main but have her at C0 since I got her so my sister kinda calls me a masochist. Thanks for the videos that are making me try out other team compositions without Klee.
loved the video Sevy!! i really admire how much love and attention you give to 4* characters and f2p players considering most character/team build guides i see out there are can be very 5* centric and only discuss artifacts sets that most new players don’t have access to yet! a 4* team i used to use a lot in early game was a vape team with Yanfei, Xingqiu, Bennett, and Noelle (for her shield) and i had a lot of fun with it! in fact, Yanfei is still to this day one of my most well/built units… she’ll always hold a special place in my heart ❤️
Sucrose is such an underrated powerhouse, funny thing is that sucrose taser actually carried me in EVERY abyss before kokomi came, it's that good
Amazing video! I find this a lot more useful and entertaining than videos on the usual national team or teams built specifically around 5 star character. with these teams you can easily see where the one or two 5 stars people may,or may not have could fit in and how to use the other characters in the comp with them^^

i just finished building my beidou (very well btw, it was very surprised cuz i always get shitty stats on geo, cryo and other sets but got godly electro artifacts on the very first times i did the domain) and i'll start building my fischl soon, she's not even close to C6 but i think the taser team will still work fine, hope

this was great to watch considering this is very recent with all the new characters, artifact sets and weapons. I've just recently started getting my 4 star supports up to par and ran a raiden national team in abyss for fun to find out that the team is very op and extremely fun to use. i just wanted to see what other teams I could possibly run and this served very well.
OH MY THANK U. Is the first time in three months since the last time I complete Abysm 12. That reverse melt was truly helpful to make a good 2nd team.

my best decision was actually building my 4 star supports and even raising their talents. i tend to splurge on 5 stars then i realized how much difference 4 star supports can give. especially sucrose. such an underrated unit.

oh im actually in the process of building a kaeya reverse melt with chongyun, benny and xiangling.. quite nice to see it being mentioned here hehe (i would also love to build a kaeya-chongyun freeze team as well bc i love those two, but the blizzard domain is very mean to me and i cannot get a good full set for kaeya lol)

Love your attention to 4 star units and early game stuff. I think a video idea with a similar vein would be tips on resource transitioning. Like between AR 35 and 50 where you're starting to get some 5 star weapons and artifacts but still have to rely on 4 or even 3 star stuff. It would be really great to see advice on how many "good enough" things to have at maybe what raised levels while in this time period of the game.

Ooh thanks for posting this! I recently started playing so I don't have all the units and had to put together a team with what I had. I got lucky and pulled all the members of the National team and have been trying to learn their rotation but for general outdoor questing/adventuring my go to team has been Yan Fei, Lisa, Barbara and Noelle. The pros of this team are that Yan Fei and Lisa's normal attacks constantly overload the enemy and Lisa's normal attack and Yan Fei's elemental skill can go through barriers so you can set yourself up in a defensive position and attack from range. When I need a bit of burst I pop Noelle's shield, then use Lisa's burst then let Yan Fei to go town on everyone. Barbara provides constant heals and hydro application when needed (she takes care of the fire flowers while Yan Fei takes care of the ice flowers). Noelle is there for her shield but also her claymore makes quick work of any mining nodes I come across. Also useful is that Yan Fei and Noelle can take down any shields that the big hilichurls use. The cons of this team are that the dps is probably subpar compared to other teams, most of the units are squishy so you have to mindful of your health, with Yan Fei on the team you have to constantly manage your stamina and catalyst users attacks auto target so you don't always hit the enemy you want. May not be perfect but between the 4 I rarely have to switch parties/members so it's really convenient. I'm sure there are better units I can use but this is what I got so I made the best of it.
I have been meaning to try and have a purpose to use Razor again but didn't know how since he felt clunky. Now I have more alternatives to use him with so I can play with him again. I have already been using Rosaria and Kaeya as well as Ningguang and Yun Jin but man using Noelle has been hard in the past. I will definitely give these teams a chance, though I will need to find a way to circumvent Bennett's whole C6 problem aside from place him with a lot of fire users. Still, this was a nice and thoughtful video Sevy!
Sucrose tazer definitely carried me throughout the game and I am all for it. Also, if you lack healing you may want to consider using prototype amber. You will get some healing across your party and some energy as well when you use your burst :)
I have this Diona/Xinyan/Fischl/Xiangling team, with Xiangling as a physical carry. Her normal attack animations look nice and it's so satisfying to see so many numbers pop up on the screen due to the crescent pike's passive. Not the best when it comes to damage, but it sure does bring me lots of fun. TUSOK KWEEN XIANGLING LEZGAW!
Shoutout to the TF Bennett comp. It uses Bennett, Xingqiu, Beidou/Lisa and Fischl with full set of Thundering Fury on Bennett. Basically this build uses the electro reactions with pyro to allow Bennett to be the DPS carry by spamming his Elemental skill through the Thundering Fury set. It helped me a great deal for a long time before I was able to get any decent 5-star heroes and expand my roster.

I usually do the abyss with this teams:
1) Tartaglia, Xiangling Bennett and Sucrose (or Zhongli).
2) Sucrose Taser.
3) Noelle, Albedo, Gorou and Zhongli.
In the latest abyss I completed floor 12 with Sucrose Taser and Noelle Team.
In your geo team who would replace gorou?
@@Levi_the_Med Gorou is a great boost. If you don't own him, YunJin/Ningguang/GeoMC can work pretty well too, depends on who you find comfortable to use for generate Geo particles

I've been building up Kaeya and Rosaria for a while in the background. Have been using Raiden National + Whatever works on the other half as my Abyss teams.
National is fantastic but I want to look at the others... Unfortunately not at C6 Fishcl for trying Taser.
I would like to add that although the Taser comp doesn't have much in terms of healing, there's a LOT of damage reduction from Xingqiu and Beidou to compensate.

Taser teams do not need C6 Fischl, she's there as Beidou's battery. C6 is just a bonus

@@deepakrajendra8019 Beidou, sucrose and xingqiu are the damage dealers here. And make sure that sucrose is 90/90 it makes a huge difference vs 80/80
Nice team comps in the comments as well! My main right now is Yanfei(Main DPS), Zhongli, Bennett and Geo Traveller. I so love the resonance damage from Zhongli's pillars and Aether's rocks xD I don't play Abyss though.

One of my favorite 4* teams is Yanfei, Beidou, Diona and Fischl, I've cleared most of GI content with it!!! It was good early game and even now on late game!!!. Thanks Sevy! for the spotlight on 4* characters!!!

As a long time geo main, my usual team is ningg/zhongli/albedo + anyone, I absolutely despise using geo traveler with ningguang for one simple reason: It is so fkn hard and bothersome to position her jade screen while in traveler's ult because it always breaks when placed upon other geo constructs. The only way I managed to make it work is by going to the edge of the ult and trying to place the screen right outside the ult area and then come back towards the enemies and ult with her (since she does need jade screen for her ult). But then it is highly likely that you will not hit any enemies with your E and waste the damage. That is why I just dropped geo traveler and went for Albedo.
Tip: use electro traveler for infinite bursts
Ive been doing main dps kaeya and a separate geo team for abyss. Still haven’t full 36 starred (artifacts lacking as well as talents) but for kaeya i love permafreeze, electro charged, and reverse melt. Usually it’ll be kaeya, xingqiu, and diona with a flex character depending on the reaction. I usually run physical kaeya but I’ve been farming blizzard domain a lot hoping to do more cryo based teams in future.
I've been playing around with team comps a bit & struggled to find the right balance - so this video comes at a perfect time! tysm for all your helpful guides, i've learned a lot from your channel and it definitely improved my own fun and experience with the game!!!

Amber (c2 or c4) - bennett - xiangling - diona/sayu. DPS amber is for the memes but for those who love her like I do will find this team to be really good for cryo enemies. I slayed dragonspine and the talent books domain with them.
Lisa-fischl-barbara/xingqiu-yanfei. You have to manage your stamina like crazy with this one, but the beauty of lisa and yanfei's fireworks is priceless (in my account I use yoimiya instead of yanfei and don't have that many stamina issues, but you can play with them on your dailies or something. They're FUN!!!)
Barbara DPS (I used widsith and clam set with hp% main stats and a lot of atk% substats) - tohma - bennett - VV sucrose because why not
I don't wanna sound like I'm nitpicking, Barbara as dps does work, but I'd actually just build her like a normal hydro dps, via HoD, Atk/Hydro/Crit, since Clam and her own dps actually kind of battle each other, if you stack heals for clam you do less hydro damage and vice versa
It would be stronger to actually just focus on vaping Barbara's strong charged attack rather than try and make clam work
You already have bennett anyways, so Barbara's heals being tiny is fine, she'd just patch up any heals bennett could've missed
Since i always use 5 stars this was truly a breath of fresh air and very informative.
Glad to see Razor in here. But for recent abyss i've been using burst electro razor build with so little field time...its pretty neat especially on the first half of the current abyss

I love the sucrose fischl comp because they're the ones I've had at c6 almost since I started (Klee rerun) 💖 I might try taser because it seems fun and challenging (no healer gaming looool)
Having no healer in Sucrose taser team is not bad at all. This team has lot of synergies that keep it going even without a healer:
1) The rain swords from Xingqiue's skill and burst reduces the damage taken (also provides interruption resistance).
2) Beidou's ult reduces the damage taken (also provides interruption resistance).
3) Beidou's skill can act as a shield and counter damage. You can perfect parry with her ascension passive.
4) The constant electrocharged reaction in this team comp mini-stagger enemies.
Combining Xingqiu's rainswords and Beidou's ult, you get around 65% damage reduction! These 4 points along with a little bit of dodging enables this team without a healer. As mentioned in this video, Xingqiu provides a little healing. If you need more healing (you most probably won't need more healing), you can use the craftable Prototype Amber on Sucrose. This catalyst provides an additional source of healing.
Sucrose taser team is very very strong against enemies that come in groups. I started using this team after I saw GambitSG's 3* weapons 4* characters 9* floor 12 video. I was stunned by the damage output of this team. My Sucrose taser team is medium investment and outputs comparable damage to my high investment 5* Diluc team!!
@@Shenron557 that sounds great except what happens vs corrosion that sounds like a bad time. I have been thinking of finish building my taser team but then I do my abyss run and remember corrosion is a thing and stop.

@@choco7232 I find dodging is easier said then done when there's lots of wolves around you. I tend to switch to a Barbara team when dealing with those.
I only started the game semi recently and so there are so many characters and comps I haven't seen much of due to unpopularity. Honestly, Razor's playstyle looks sick af and I probably would've tried to main him if I got him.

I am a sucrose main through and through, my current comp is Sucrose, Barbara, Bennett and Xiangling. I've always loved this team because of how fun it is.
Nice mix. I made my second attempt on Abyss a few days ago and without spoiling anything was a bit disappointed in my results despite having a strong National Team. On some level I left it to the last minute due to grinding for new characters(I pulled midweek because I wanted to do it Live which was probably a poor idea). In any case I looked back the next day and felt like I could have easily done better if I'd just been a bit more open minded to breaking up the fabled National team as it was my second team that struggled and created most of the problems.

i use the sucrose taser team a lot in abyss and they’re absolutely amazing, it’s wonderful

My 4 stars team that I use often is Ningguang, Noelle, Rosaria and Yanfei (Both Rosaria and Yanfei are built for support to generate extra ER particles for Noelle by Favonius weaponry.)
I am a Kaeya main and running a reverse melt team. I'm planning on making freeze team later when I'm able to build my other units since freeze is my favorite elemental reaction.
I really like to play the taser team and yanfei overload! Though I can't play the 4* taser team without healers but I'm playing yae/fischl/sucrose/kokomi. Doesn't require too much skill like sukokomon comp but there's still it's satisfying that a lot numbers and reactions with large aoe.
Also saves eula’s shoulder being the aoe physical queen carrying my floor 12
I play for nearly a year now and do not have all characters required for any of the teams you mentioned. Great!
my favorite and most fun to play team so far in these teams are reverse melt one, all you need is dragons bane on rosaria iron sting on kaeya and em sands on them as well, and just ton of er on xiangling because its more of a quick swap team between rosaria and kaeya when you can actually use bennets skill time to time and feed particals to xiangling but its a reverse melt comp so majority of damage is coming from kaeya and rosaria so you should have there burst up as much as possible
My main team from early game was Ningguang, Zhongli, Bennet, Xiangling. (Zhongli just made the whole game too easy lol). Built Sucrose Taser and enjoyed it a LOT, and even used them from floor 9-11. Thanks to this guide I might consider building a different 4 stars comps just for fun. Maybe after getting Ayato and farming for all his artifacts. 😬
I've been a razor main since the start even though I've gained a few good five stars. Using him with kaeya and xingqiu is always fun.

Permafreeze Kaeya is one of my go-to comps for any challenging content. Also physical Kaeya with Yun Jin. It's suboptimal, but I like seeing him do big white numbers and I like Yun Jin and have no better way to utilise her for now, so I use it from time to time as well.
I feel like I'm in a huge minority because I never used any variant of the national team (and I also never built my Xiangling lol). I recognise why it's so popular, but Idk, it's not for me. And with how they mess up the new 4 stars or make them very niche, it's actually a bit sad national has barely any obvious competition because of how overpowered Xiangling is.

I've been running a fun selfish Ningguang on 4pc Retracing Bolide set + Yun Jin + Gorou + Thoma. With the right constellations you get heavily increased normal attacks, plus attack speed, greatly increased charged attacks, shields, battery and heals. Ning C1 causes those mega normals to AoE, and Thoma has no reactions to steal so he just layers on extra fire dps.
Build scales well and I feel auto-attacking heavy builds are coming but the best part for me is that it's a bunch of characters I love playing that don't dip into any of those core units like Bennet, XQ, XL, etc. ☺
my first team & freeze unit: chongyun, xingqiu, kaeya & barbara. keeps the enemies in place, i just rotate according to skill cool down. it was pretty fun while it lasted for me

I really wanna build Sucrose Taser, and the Kaeya reverse melt seems very fun. I also wouldn‘t need as much resources since my kaeya is already doublecrownef and I‘m using Bennett all the time. Right now i‘m building xiangling and rosaria, so imma play this team soon
for the first like three months my team was noelle, diona, razor and xianling. I still love to use them sometimes and I think they were quite great: razor as main, diona and xianling mostly for their ults and reactions and shielder and healer noelle. i have this hole team level 80 after playing for five months:)
I mainly play 4 stars, I have Noelle, Yanfei, and Diona. Then my C3 Hu Tao I worked so hard to get!
I’m really interested in making a Xinyan comp. I was thinking it would go Xinyan, Gorou, Yunjin, and Bennett.
My team till I got a few more characters (I'm fairly new) was Ningguang,Xiangling,Diona and Rosaria (Rosaria was replaced by Xingqiu)
Sounds random but the Xiangling Diona Rosaria (and Xingqiu later) reactions were pretty nice while Ningguang was stoning them to death.

Maybe you can tap the skill instead of hold. She should be on viridecent veneerer when you are ar 45 because it increases the element damage swirled by 40% EG water and ice damage is increased if you mix both.

Also, in a taser team, you could replace xingqiu with barbara with the clam set, im not so sure dmg wise but you can prob find (good for people like me who dont like not having healers)
Xiangling with 4 pieces crimson doesn’t work on reverse melt team, she isn’t the one who melt so you lose the 4 pieces effect.
I just started to build reverse melt rosaria! I haven’t even u-graded her talents but she’s already doing great :) I’m using lavawalker tho bc I have c6 bennett

Geo Traveller's Crit buff carried my Crit rate more than I expected for Noelle since her Crit rate wasn't the best, back then it was like 29% before I got better artifacts.
My go to 4* team is Yanfei vape with Bennet and Xinqgui, the fourth slot being flex - usually Sucrose (on occasion flex slot is occupied by 5*)

I use the second team as my main Beidou, Fischl, Sucrose, and Xingqiu. However, I do not know Sucrose would power all of these characters. If you could provide more details on this team I'd really appreciate it.
Overload was my favourite reaction from day one and I have an account that I use to main Yanfei and Beidou because they're just **perfect** together. It's no mistake that they were both on the Ganyu/Zhongli double rerun banner last January, and I got high cons for both of them when that account was like ar25 so it just made sense (no regrets... I will triple crown them both someday)
