I like this. I am not a barber, but I cut my own hair. I stuck with Wahl since I started cutting. I still like the seniors, and I will keep using it. However, I want another clipper from another company. This really helped.

I am so with you. The only clippers I use are my cordless wahls seniors with the philthy Blends andis blade that allows me to use the magnetic guards. I see all these other guys using like three different clippers on people when I just use one for all hair types
I’m in the market for a new clipper and trimmer. Sucks I have to wait that long. I’ve been deployed for the past 6 months and the magic clippers have been getting abused. This is an awesome video.

Excellent plan and we as barbers appreciate you thinking of us. I’ll be waiting for that 4-5 month review to see if they are a must cop. I also was a Seniors guy but I must say, the Gamma Alpha?? (Sorry, they got hella different branding names so it might be the Stylecraft version but I know it’s not the Ergos, those are…… ehhhhh….) The alphas though? I can clipper over comb, I can get the bald line out on ALL TYPE OF HAIR, and I can debulk easily. Have you checked them out? Not to mention the long battery life. I sound like I’m sponsored but naw….. I just nerd out like most of us on here. Haha. Blessings bro!

I got damn near all of them too and the one I go to is the ion extreme torque it gives 4 hours running time and it tells you when you need oil
I had to pause the video when you were talking about the middle position on Wahl Seniors. I've always marked the exact center position on all of my clippers since the 90's by placing a piece of painters tape across the side of the clipper behind the lever and measuring from fully open to fully closed and finding the middle. Then I take a 1/8" drill bit and put a small divot into the side of the clipper (drill through the tape to help keep the bit from sliding and scratching the clipper body) to easily distinguish the center position. I used to go so far as to fill the divot with a contrasting color of nail polish so it looks like it's there from the factory, but now I don't even bother. Of course, you still have to take a second to look and ensure you're in the middle rather than feeling or listening to the clicks, but it's just something that works for me. Hopefully this makes sense.

To be honest, I just break my Senior levels into fourths - It doesn't exactly require the greatest precision because the difference between the quarters is so small that you usually won't have a problem in a cut. Rarely ever do I have to go back and clean a section because the increments are so small, they aren't an issue.

They look dope. I’ve tried the gold Fx’s and just couldn’t get used to it. Liked the trimmers and that’s about it. Always had an issue with the clipper lever shifting notches no matter how hard I tighten the lever. Hope the lo-pro don’t have the same problem.

Jrl 2020c with fade blade is right there with the seniors, just a little less good at taking down super thick bulk.
To your point about clippers being either good for bulk or detail I think Gamma and S/C are on to something with their Fusion Blade.. I really feel it does well with both bulk and detail on any type of hair..

Yooo S.Craft! I will say...I've had the Master's Taper blade on my Wahl Seniors for a while with the PhilthyBlendz mod and a ceramic blade. While I loved that combo, I recently put the StyleCraft Fusion blade with a ceramic cutting blade with the Tomb45 Battery and I think they cut nice through bulk and detail beautifully! And not only do they cut nice, speaking on your point, if you get the StyleCraft Fusion blade on your seniors you'll have your murdered out black look that you love so much! Thanks for this review!

When you replaced the blade on the clipper does it feel like the stationary blade moves a little bit? I put a taper blade in the Lopros and it feels like the stationary blade moves a little but I can’t tighten the screws any more than I already have. Great review and still some great clippers🔥

Lol. There’s a difference between being able to use any clipper and having go tos. 🤣
But the question is do they have the same prongs holding the cutting blade like the Babyliss fX clipper , major flaw design making the clipper blade move in a U shape , not like the Wahl senior where the cutting blade moves in an evenly horizontal motion, and not to mention that Babyliss cutting blades tear up curly hair and wavy hair , it doesn’t cut it smooth like Wahl blade

Definitely agree with you about the seniors. One of the best cordless clippers ever made. My go to clipper right now. Is the X Ergo, with the fusion blade. And gammas new deep tooth cutting blade… The fusion blade is just unbelievable. You basically get the best of both worlds. It’s like a cross between a fade, and taper blade. To me, the clipper fits like a glove in my hands. Has a ton of power. Has the charging stands. Everything I have to do. I can do with that clipper. I love Babyliss trimmers and shavers… I think they are the best on the market. But I have not really been impressed with one of the clippers yet. In my opinion, I think the regular Babyliss clipper is trash. The new FX three clipper cuts well. But I just can’t get used to that switch in the middle. So I’m really looking forward to getting this new clipper. I think they may have done it with this one. Seems to have a lot of power. And I love the click lever

Heard the est crazy on hair.. can this trimmer be a over all.. for me i need a 2nd pair of trimmers. But Will be using it for kids and people with sensitive skin i really like the look of them...... But also wanted to get the ergos trimmers from gamma. And install the fx blade on it with a mod. Since ive heard soooooo many people priase fx gold blade. That they sre sharp and amazing. If you was in my position. Please lmk. So i get the trimmer itself and order the mod for it. Or stick with those blsck trimmers you have in hand.
