Photographer Gunnar Fahlström presents: Swedish Glassworks. Berömda Glasbruk

Perhaps the most famous of all Swedish arts and crafts are those produced by the glassworks.
Photography jobs documenting them is a favorite of mine.
I have edited a video with a selection of my photographs from 9 glassworks productions. Mainly taken during the year 2008 (when I did a couple of bigger jobs for foreign publishers and newspapers) to get a temporally comparable perspective.
Unfortunately, many glassworks have gone out of time, but gratifyingly new ventures are springing up in the old and well known places like Orrefors or Boda.
