  • The Brazilian version of Zeebo was bundled with this version of Need for Speed Carbon - Own the City, exclusively ported for the Zeebo. According to the internet sources, this is most likely ported from the PSP.
According to Mobygames.com, the game is completely different from its console and PC counterparts. Unlike the other versions there is no canyon racing or drift racing.
Also, the game play is not the same then the other BREW mobile phone versions of Need for Speed as demonstrated on this channel.
The goal of the game is to build up a gang of the best racers and take over all the city's territories. The driving is all city-based similar to the open world of Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The tuner culture/car customization features started in Need for Speed Underground are also present.
There is a light story, presented as comic book style illustrations, that unfolds as the player take over territories and complete chapters.
Music was disabled because the NFS franchise heavily relies on licensed music.
CZcams would copyright strike if the music were enabled.
Added later: Had to use CZcams's feature to remove the 30 seconds music which was left.

I consider this the most impressive port of Zeebo, Zeebo had ports of old PCs like Quake 1 and 2 and a good part of its library was made up of exclusive games made from scratch for the console or Android game ports, but this was the only Zeebo port that came straight from another console (in this case the PSP) and it's impressive if you consider that the PSP was very close in hardware to the PS2 and even so they managed to port this game to Zeebo and run this version on BREW.
Cid the Dummy would be another Zeebo game that would be based on the PSP version and according to the devs the development was going very well, the biggest problem was the space limitation but not the BREW or the hardware itself, unfortunately the port took a long time and ended up not coming out due to Zeebo being discontinued and probably his build was lost forever but it would be amazing to see how it would have turned out.
I wonder if it's possible to make any changes to this game, maybe improve the frame-rate by lowering the resolution or even restore the assets of the PSP version.

Thanks for listening to my request, I have been wanting a gameplay of the Zeebo version in good quality for a long time.
The Zeebo version from what I saw is a direct port of the PSP version (there is even a comparison of the two versions on CZcams, they are very similar, considering what BREW is, it is even impressive to see a PSP game ported to it)
It is just a pity that the Zeebo version has suffered a huge downgrade, so I read that it was necessary because of the space limit of ZeeboNet and also to reduce costs, I wonder if it is possible to restore the original assets of the PSP version in Zeebo , or at least improve the frame-rate, Ranging Thunder 2 runs much faster than that.

I think you could bring the assets to it from PSP, if they fit to the internal emmc card of the Zeebo. As for the framerate I don't think it is doable.
Also, who thought that the game will look good if the action is at dusk and with highly compressed textures? It looks like sh*t!

@@krzbrew I've been fiddling with the Zeebo version files, it seems to be very easy to '' modify '', it even has information about the online mode of the original PSP game but it is disabled in Zeebo (I even wonder if it is possible to activate it in back and put the PSP server for him to connect, it would be interesting to see since Zeebo despite having access to the internet did not have any online games due to 3G costs.)
Unfortunately I have a Zeebo but it is not unlocked, I wanted an easier way to put games on it without having to open the console and do all the work with JTAG (which I don't know how to do xD) I really wanted to test some modifications in games like Quake 1 and 2 (who knows how to test the mods of the PC version on it) besides trying to improve the performance of some Zeebo games, Rally Master Pro even has a file containing the game resolution, I always wondered if I reduce the his resolution would make the game run more stable.

but it's already good on the psp the problem is that the zeebo version was reduced in the physical graphics and the sounds the only thing that remained was the cars and the music plus the sound effects i'll tell you a lot and the sound of the car's engine sounds like old old car engine instead of the engine of the toyota above this is due to the cell phone hardware that no one would pay more for a console that has cell phone hardware
