    So I just ordered the parts for this panel and I sure wish I lived where you do because there is no way you could make this for $10 here. I'm at $75 bucks cdn and I haven't got the Acrylic or the micro switch yet. I think $110 is more like it. Having said that, it is still the coolest looking panel and worth the money.

    • @letsfixit1594

    base your power of the laser by the output current mA meter. a 40 watt co2 laser cant go higher than 24 mA. so if your dial is at 50 when your at 24mA your new 100 is 50. if you use anything over that 50 you will find yourself getting a new tube soon.

    On the meter, .5 is what? As I understand it the pot just adjust the power to the laser. However no correlation to actual current, right? That's why people used the analog meter to set the power by. Just trying to understand what the reading on the digital meter relates to exactly.

    • @letsfixit1594
      @letsfixit1594  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Micheal yeah its just a gauge that you can use so you have an exact power level that you can go back and use every time, best is to experiment at different voltage levels to obtain an optimal power level for the material you are cutting or engraving.
