Personally I think a better test would have been to only cover half the screen with the nano liquid and do a scratch test on the protected part and unprotected part for a direct comparison.
a gorilla glass screen will scrath at mohs 6 with deeper grooves at level 7 a knife wont do anything even without protection... but some material that can be dust (Quartz) can ad micro scratches^^ so it has to be tested with a lvl 6 material if the scratch stays or is just in the nano stuff...
So one thing to realize, especially if you watch the JerryRigEverything channel is that most metal, keys, coins, won't scratch a gorilla glass 3 or 5 screen. So what you're testing here is really is the protector, OR the screen, can hold up against the things we know it can hold up against. The real test would be to scratch the protected screen up with pocket sand, minerals, rocks, whatever, then somehow get the liquid protector off, and see if the screen looked ok. Hard to do. I wish these had a more solid verdict because it's such a pain with the curved screen on my OP5T. Thanks for the video as always.
Good feedback. I am definitely not a pro like JerryRig. That channel really has these tests down. I was trying to give an idea of some basic scratch tests. I will definitely continue to try and do some of these tests if you guys want. Hopefully they will improve with time. It’s definitely become more and more difficult to find a good screen protector, so an alternative would be nice. Appreciate it. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Hard to give a definitive answer on this product. I was impressed with how scratch resistant it appeared to be. I think if your main concern is scratch protection and don’t like to use screen protectors, this may be a good option. If you are like me and like the extra peace of mind, continue to use a tempered glass protector. Let me know what you guys think!
Big Unbox ...this is for just scratch protection .. the tempered glass will give you extra drop protection for your stock screen. Could probably apply this to your tempered glass screen. How long before you have to apply another coating? Would be nice if there was an oleophobic liquid application .
I feel like it is kind of bandaid for already heavily-scratched glass, it should fill them, leaving proper smooth surface. It's just a guess, but also a good topic for a video, what dou you think?
Put some beach sand on a table, lay your phone on top of it and rub it against the sand, and see if it'll get so many scratches, and keep in mind sand is hardness 7, not 9. Spigen GLAS.tR says it offers 9H protection. I know that there is no glass that can withstand the scratching of sand, but that would be the real test.
I put this stuff on my new Oneplus 8. Had it on my bike's handlebar mount, the bike tipped over and leaned into a rock wall. Scratched the crap out of it...I know thats extreme, but if I had a proper glass screen protector on it, it would have faired better.
You need to run your fingers over the screen and to see if you feel the marks. Just because you can’t see them, doesn’t mean you can’t feel them. You also should clean it with rubbing alcohol to see if it withstands disinfecting.
Would it have resisted the knife scratching without the nano liquid coating? You need to test it on two identical smartphones. One with the coating and one without it. Because we have no guarantee that without it, the screen would have been seriously damage by that knife.
The bare screen without that stuff would have held up. You should have tested the bare screen with different hardness tips (like jerryrigeverything) then done the same test after application. Without doing that you shouldn't be recommending any products, it's irresponsible.
Now I don't get it, is that better than glass and we can buy it or not? Is that securing more than glass or same or not? Please answer honestly. -Regards
I have an s20 plus, and my question is what would happen if the liquid falls on the upper speaker, the one above on the screen. Will it affect the sound or whether it works ???
I've been watching your videos ever since I got my OnePlus 5T and you're getting better. Good job buddy 👍 What's the best tempered glass protector you've come across? I'm thinking about replacing my Spigen Rugged Armor case for the dbrand dragon skin. But I'm worried I'll never find the perfect screen protector. Maybe the IQ protector, even though it's plastic. Not sure though.
I personally think the Orzly Tempered Glass or Official OP5T TG is the best way to go. They are both full adhesive and are pretty well made. I am really not sure there is a perfect TG out there, but these are the best I have come across. Hope this helps. I appreciate your support and feedback. Let me know if you have any other questions. Also, that dragon skin is very nice.
How is the product removed? Like I said in another comment, I clean my phone with a little rubbing alcohol, can this tolerate it? And what product removes it?
Seems to be liquid ceramic that's used on car paint. You can buy a bottle of the cheap for 30 bucks or the good stuff for about 150-200 and it's a bottle worth.
Thought the item scratching the glass has to be harder than the glass itself. And I'm pretty sure the metal of the keys not as hard as the glass. Nothing to be some sort of sand or something harder
Normal gorilla glass wont scratch with metals, whats the point of this liquid? Test with sand and if it scratches then whats the point your screen will be ruined with something yoy cant replace
heard that certain liquid protector caused the glass turned into yellowish color...does it make the screen yellow after several months? need the long term review
Will stick with the conventional glass screen protector. Most of the liquid screen protectors on the market only cover up to $100.00 if your screen breaks, which barely covers labor on the more expensive phones.
Hi! Can you please test this on either the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 or Moto Z2 force? Both have shatterproof screens but are extremely scratch prone. I wanted to see if this makes the screens scratch proof!
None of the tools you used have the hardness level required to scratch the glass, even without any protection, so I'm sorry but this test is useless. As another user suggested, you should've applied it only on half of the screen and you would've seen that neither side would've gotten scratched.
Hello, does this protect the screen from scratch? One of my friends used to say this, then how many days has he been scratched on his iphone x , will you accept this comment? Thanks if you answer
Adrian Santibanez yeah, I'd recommend a tempered glass protector first, then put some liquid glass on top of that , liquid glass only protects against scratches and some light pressure for like a year, then fades off, tempered glass protects against scratches and possible screen breakage, both together will make your phone feel rugged and that's a plus from me 👍
I think I will use this on my Zagg Screen Protector when it has lost its Oleophobic coating properties. I will not use this as a stand alone screen protector.
You should check out invisible shield ultra clear screen protector. I have it on my S10+ and it's great. Also uses nano memory technology and its self healing
I have been using it since the video and rocking it with only a Peel case and have not noticed any scratches yet. I am very careful with my phones. I cannot tell you for sure how it would handle a drop . However, so far so good .
Sorry to say applied last week after 2 days just accidentally put flash drive with cap on in my pocket and guess what that plastic based device ruined half of my display and there is now cluster of microscratches. Spigen what a FRAUD
Why would you? You're spending money on something that will help your phone survive scratching in day-to-day use. What is up with that thought process of yours?
@@Astro_80 his thought process is on point. When using a glass screenprotector, you can easily replace it when it has to many scratches on it. That's why you use a protector, so that gets the scratches instead of the screen. Now let's say you have the nano screenprotector.... I'll leave the thought process lesson up to you from here on.
Depends if you need just scratch protection or want some drop protection too. If you are looking for basic scratch protection, I think this would be good. Otherwise, you may want to check out the Whitestone Dome TG. It's expensive and not easy to install. However, if you are patient and follow directions it's really good. Full adhesive and natural feel
What were you on bro? Lol theres no white cloth there. Plus what would that white cloth be doing? If you're refering to the coating wipe, it would be wet if he applied that to the screen
Personally I think a better test would have been to only cover half the screen with the nano liquid and do a scratch test on the protected part and unprotected part for a direct comparison.
I agree. Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate the suggestions for future comparison videos
Damn, I never would've thought of that even though you see it on infomercials every night. Good suggestion!
I agree or get two burner phones, one for control and one to test the Nanites :)
a gorilla glass screen will scrath at mohs 6 with deeper grooves at level 7 a knife wont do anything even without protection... but some material that can be dust (Quartz) can ad micro scratches^^ so it has to be tested with a lvl 6 material if the scratch stays or is just in the nano stuff...
Selling something saying its invisible.. i SEE what they did there...
The only problem is you did no control test. Would those implements have scratched a normal screen?
So one thing to realize, especially if you watch the JerryRigEverything channel is that most metal, keys, coins, won't scratch a gorilla glass 3 or 5 screen. So what you're testing here is really is the protector, OR the screen, can hold up against the things we know it can hold up against.

Big Unbox no prob man. You've saved me a lot of money in wasted cases and screen protectors ha. Keep it up!
Where you could have done is just apply the liquid protector to half of the screen, and and test it out, see if you can scratch either side of it
Do you have any suggestions for curved screens?! (:
tests and results start @9:22
I wonder if the liquid would make future scratches not visible if you apply a new coating later on.
Hard to give a definitive answer on this product. I was impressed with how scratch resistant it appeared to be. hei big unbox, do you use it directly after you applied it or wait for 48 hours on off?
I feel like it is kind of bandaid for already heavily-scratched glass, it should fill them, leaving proper smooth surface. It's just a guess, but also a good topic for a video, what dou you think?
Big Unbox
Screen protectors get dirt around them. This seems like a great alternative.
Put some beach sand on a table, lay your phone on top of it and rub it against the sand, and see if it'll get so many scratches, and keep in mind sand is hardness 7, not 9. Does this protect against hard knocks to the glass or dropping it on a stony ground?
Shalom W liquid screen protectors like these only protect your phone from scratches.
I think sand and quartz are level 8 and above..
thereis no baseline test to compare this liquid to. how do you know there is even anything left on the screen?
Many thanks for making this vid. It really helped in making my decision. Appreciate your help 👍
I heard liquid screen protectors are permanent once applied. Is that true? How would you remove it if it has too many scratches.
I put this stuff on my new Oneplus 8. Had it on my bike's handlebar mount, the bike tipped over and leaned into a rock wall. Scratched the crap out of it...I know thats extreme, but if I had a proper glass screen protector on it, it would have faired better.
Thanks for the feedback. Good to know how it holds up in real life situations

Shut your snout

It's strengthens the glass against breakage but the scratch resistance remains at level 6-7.
I got this for my new phone and it does not work, dropped it from about 3dm and got alot of deep scratches on my phone.
Thanks for uploading this. Do you think it will protect the screen from scratches and cracks if it fell on an outdoor or rough road surface?
His voice sounds lime its in slow motion. Its really cool
This guy: "obviously this can be applied to every phone with a screen"
My grandmother, getting ready with her dial phone: "well fuck you sir."
Can we replace it once it is applied
I have an s20 plus, and my question is what would happen if the liquid falls on the upper speaker, the one above on the screen. Will it affect the sound or whether it works ???

Also, that dragon skin is very nice.
show how to apply the liquid. thanks for the video mate but it was a bit worthless
What about a drop test with nano liquid? what would happen?
Mark Lindberg both screens would crack I guess
so, can you remove the layer once it get a bunch of microscratches ?
partyprash nah once it sits on your screen it stays until you replace your screen.
Then it is not good
How is the product removed? Like I said in another comment, I clean my phone with a little rubbing alcohol, can this tolerate it? And what product removes it?
I’ll just stick with tempered glass
But what if you apply this liquid not on the smartphone screen itself, but on the glued hydrogel film? is it possible ???
Seems to be liquid ceramic that's used on car paint. You can buy a bottle of the cheap for 30 bucks or the good stuff for about 150-200 and it's a bottle worth.
Thought the item scratching the glass has to be harder than the glass itself. And I'm pretty sure the metal of the keys not as hard as the glass. Nothing to be some sort of sand or something harder
Can you take it off easily? Could you apply it to the whole phone?
Normal gorilla glass wont scratch with metals, whats the point of this liquid? Test with sand and if it scratches then whats the point your screen will be ruined with something yoy cant replace
Does this mess up the oleophobic coating?
Budget JerryRigEverything
Low budget
heard that certain liquid protector caused the glass turned into yellowish color...does it make the screen yellow after several months? need the long term review
I will keep an eye out. I am tempted to use this product on my Galaxy S9 plus and provide updates
I seriously hope you didn't do that to such a beautiful phone. You're better off just using a proper glass protector on it.
This worth it?
Will stick with the conventional glass screen protector. Most of the liquid screen protectors on the market only cover up to $100.00 if your screen breaks, which barely covers labor on the more expensive phones.
Hi! Can you please test this on either the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 or Moto Z2 force? Both have shatterproof screens but are extremely scratch prone. I wanted to see if this makes the screens scratch proof!
Hows it holding up?
Some of these comments are hilarious. The liquid is not supposed make the phone damn near bulletproof.
YET
None of the tools you used have the hardness level required to scratch the glass, even without any protection, so I'm sorry but this test is useless. As another user suggested, you should've applied it only on half of the screen and you would've seen that neither side would've gotten scratched.

Hello, does this protect the screen from scratch? One of my friends used to say this, then how many days has he been scratched on his iphone x , will you accept this comment? Thanks if you answer
Did you not watch the video? The whole video was only about scratching. Sheesh
Go the spyderco,.. thumbs ups just for that alone!
What about the speaker holes, are they covered?
yea and even the camera if it's not 100% clear, regular screen protectors have cut outs for them
Who cares about light scratch test? I wanna see how screen protectors handle pissed off people.
Does it feel sticky after 48 hours or the same as before you put it on?
Nope.
No
Where is your control test
So mean v cant use phon for 48hrs?
Maybe..
How do you remove it?
Try using pen knife and slice across.
Can you use a tempered glass screen protector over the liquid protector
Adrian Santibanez yeah, I'd recommend a tempered glass protector first, then put some liquid glass on top of that , liquid glass only protects against scratches and some light pressure for like a year, then fades off, tempered glass protects against scratches and possible screen breakage, both together will make your phone feel rugged and that's a plus from me 👍
Thats a dumb question...the point of this nano protection is to not use the tempered glass
The Moto E4 has Corning Gorilla Glass 3, oleophobic coating. I don't know anyone who can go 2 days without using their phone.
That has nothing to do with the liquid stuff you used. I can do that to a Galaxy S4 and it won't scratch. Lol
It does not work people don't buy it, i tested it with a couple off phone's but u still get scratches
should 48 hours we dont use our phone or can still use until 48 hous will maximum for protec ?
I think you can still use it, however for effect of the product I think they say 48 hrs
Just wait 48 hours so you can't get your money back for this product that won't even protect you from a hardness 5.5 knife.
Dimitrios Topouzidis lol yeah maybe this product is useless, i will change with another product
Well, it's not exactly useless, it's good against water, and should be good if you applied it to a helmet visor.
I think you can you is after the initial 10min. 48 hours Is just when it's fully complete
this test is completely pointless, you might as well try to scratch the latest gorilla glass with a wooden stick.
Is the iCarez 2.5 coming up tonight?
Looking at Thursday for that video. It’s coming my friend.
Big Unbox Thank You.
Video is up!
How do you even take this off if you needed to
It's not needed. You can't even tell it's there
Try a diamond
So it really could for glass phone
Could what?
Hey dude iam considering to buy this for my s9 does it realy hold scratches ? tell me honestly?
I have been using it since the video and rocking it with only a Peel case and have not noticed any scratches yet. I am very careful with my phones. I cannot tell you for sure how it would handle a drop . However, so far so good .
Sorry to say applied last week after 2 days just accidentally put flash drive with cap on in my pocket and guess what that plastic based device ruined half of my display and there is now cluster of microscratches. Spigen what a FRAUD
Good feedback. Really appreciate it
Taimoor Ali one thing about spigen is that there is a lot of fake spigen n now i don't know how to see whether am i buying an original or fake one
He did the entire screen 🤦♀
They might be selling you a placebo
Does it decreases camera clarity ??
No issues with clarity
How to remove the layer if i need

Will the liquid effect the speaker holes
I don't think there is enough to mess anything up. If you are worries, just go around it.
all glass phones should wipe all around
Who don't you scrath with sand paper
u should use a hammer and hammer it.
would you recommend it for the google pixel 2 xl??
Depends if you need just scratch protection or want some drop protection too. If you are looking for basic scratch protection, I think this would be good. Otherwise, you may want to check out the Whitestone Dome TG. It's expensive and not easy to install. However, if you are patient and follow directions it's really good. Full adhesive and natural feel
guidance I’m using it on my 2 XL and haven’t had a scratch yet.
i wont buy it thnks dude :)
15 minutes video for this crap...
Wipe it down * 10000000.........n
Lots of wiping it down lolz
There is a white cloth underneath the blue cloth you are using !!! seems fooling people here !!! check video time 13:35 . Please explain.
What were you on bro? Lol theres no white cloth there. Plus what would that white cloth be doing? If you're refering to the coating wipe, it would be wet if he applied that to the screen
are u high? its a reflection, what phone r u watching this video on?
ALL BS
DO YOU HAVE PROOF THAT IT IS?
Please stop talking like that in the intro.
Let him be, sorry he's not you.
