yeah for some reason the algorithm's been pushing hard these old WAN episodes... I too only started listening to these during the pandemic, but it's nice seeing just how much they've improved over all these years.
Having watched this live back in a crap-azz apartment during the livestream I can say that eight years later Luke's Hikee still takes the show 10/10

The iPhone X was released in 2017, 4 years after this video. I think it's crazy how quickly what they portrayed as almost science fiction (face unlock, the whole privacy problem) has become so common (think iris scanners, under the screen fingerprint sensors, FaceID). And soon FaceID will have been around for longer than TouchID. I wonder what the future holds.

I loved this year for my own personal life but also for it being right before an explosive growth for MKBHD and LTT. Not to say I don't love where the channel's have gone but 2013 was such an exciting yet perfectly eventless year

I've been subbed to your channel Linus for more then 3 years and I've seen it come a long way. At first, when the WAN show came out, just like everyone else I didn't like change and didn't think it was that great, but I'm happy to say I'm loving the WAN show lately, especially with the guests and keep up the good work!
