Perhaps my all time favourite Leeds player and I'm nearly 50 years old. One word sums up Lee that was tenacity he had it in bundles... i don't think we will ever see his all round footballing skills again in a Leeds shirt but we can hope. OK he had his dark side but don't all geniuses who are blessed with skills in one side...Thanks for the memories and those great goals.
Our most influential player during that period, particularly in those European games. 1999 and 2001 he was voted our player of the season. Says everything. Sign your contract for the lads.
I watched my first Leeds game in 1986 and without a doubt Lee Bowyer was one of, if not THE best player I've ever watched at ER. Absolutely phenomenal!!
Quick, brave, fearless, great first time striker of the ball, amazing energy...& a scorer of important goals, the heartbeat of that great Leeds team ..a mystery of epic proportions how he only had one England cap! If Leeds had a box to box midfielder like him who can shoot & finish nowadays they would walk promotion!!!!!
Despite having several controversial incidents off the pitch, Lee Bowyer was an excellent player, who was an absolute unit on the pitch, and scored many great goals for Leeds
His left foot volley at 7:42 is the stuff of dreams. What an amazing player & striker of the ball. English football ain't the same without Leeds United
Just leave Bowyer alone. He's a good example for anyone facing a lynch mob despite being found not guilty. I never understood how fans cheered Woodgate on his return and booed Bowyer.

He had his best times for Leeds. That team with smith , viduka, kewell had some real quality.

Liked his Style ! One of the best english midfielder of his era in my opinion.
Thank you for uploading this video despite recording it with a toaster
Fucking hell, it's 12 years old with footage a lot older than that!
love him a true hero
Lee is not hateful or a shit. Despite the bad press he has got on with job.

Gerrard, lampard, Scholes and keane!?........ LEE BOWYER ALL DAY LONG!!
Class player and stitched up in famous Leeds assault incident..as all good Leeds folk know.
Leeds were - like liester now ! That was cool team ? Bowyer was leader of that team and Ian Hart too .
Leeds were desperate to get rid of him in 02 it was Houllier who pulled out of the deal allowing Lee Bowyer to leave on a free eventually.
lee loves those yellow cards
BRING HIM BACK!
What was the game he demolished Sky's behind goal camera with a high shot?
@harryUSAsmith he did win the carling cup 2011
My gaffer
Who's Ian Bowyer ?
One England cap. Good career spent the best part of 15 years in the Prem...but still wasted his talent for me.
Shirt 2x too big Lee Bowyer.Great player, would must rather have had him Nolan,K Davis in the England squad than the other prima donnas.
would have more respect of bowyer if he wasnt in all those scandals
