@@sandythag3176 breaking bad wasn’t about making money or even family. It was about a man taking control of his life after being emasculated and pushed around his whole life. I think that’s the reason why men love Walt’s character so much, despite everything that he did wrong. He’s an inspiration to modern men who desire to be something greater than just a cog in the machine. He did it for himself, and that’s perfectly fine.
@@jokerpilled2535 I'm pretty sure Breaking Bad was trying to show how ego and how Walt's desire to be not "ridiculous" isn't that great either. Yes he was emasculated and pushed around because of his festering ego, he let all of it explosively blow up causing a fallout within his family and addicted to the power trip of being feared.
Characters like Walter White are the opposite of what men should represent, he psychologically tortured his wife, poisoned a child and went on a destructive rampage just to make everything fit in his own image.

for years now i wondered why my dad, fully knowing my sisters and mom hate him, talk behind his back, and whenever were outside they cling to him for MONEY. its annoyed and irritated me for years and i only stayed quiet and akways wondered why. this video answered it for me, he does it cause his a man, his not appreciated, loved or cared by my sisters or mom, his my idol, i want to be like him one day and i hate my sisters for this
its exactly like that for my dad too. its not until they want something that they try to act nice and boom after they get what they want its back to ignoring him. if only i could tell my dad how much i appreciate him and let him know that his efforts dont go unknown to me at least. sad that a lot of us guys are most likely gonna head down the same path unappreciated but we’ll have to deal with it. stay strong my dudes as long as we know what our efforts are worth, we can keep moving on knowing we are a contribution to this society one way or another 💪

When I was younger, ( I’m in my mid 20‘s) my family and I lived in a forest with a nearby farm in it. One day during one of the harder winters of the year, we lost power to the entire neighborhood. The only way to keep ourselves warm was to cut the wood from the downed trees outside. My father told me and my sister to go out into the snow and cut the wood with an Axe. (Being the young fool that I was, I complained about how cold it was outside and how hard it was to get the wood and start it up in the fire place because it was so wet from the snow.) My father told me that no matter how much I complained about how I felt, I was going to get wood to keep the fire place going, and I was going to keep working until I ensured that it was enough to last the family for the rest of the week. A little while after he told me that I may have been a boy, but I was going to become a man, and he told me… a real man doesn’t complain about his problems, he acknowledges them and pushes through them, so he can enjoy the reward after.
My dad told me back when he was a Firefighter, he said if "I wasted my time complaining about how hot the heat was in a burning building, how many people who were in that burning building that needed my help would be already dead?" From that point on, I had a completely different outlook on myself and life, because I wanted to be better than myself for the sake of others, even if it meant that I was the odd one out.
Masculinity is not determined by someone’s strength or size. It’s determined by their will, and their willingness to put themselves on the line for the sake of becoming a better version of themselves and helping others to be better version of themselves. That’s what makes a strong person. Their willingness to keep pushing even when told they can’t or they shouldn’t. This applies to men and woman. Nowadays no one wants to work, or fight to achieve something, it’s all about having everything being handed to them. Life doesn’t work that way, and it never will.
