Erik Pema Kunsang with Heidi Koppl on Blazing Splendor: The Memoirs of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche

Our Thursday TTE reading groups have just begun the book Blazing Splendor: Memoirs of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche. Our Heidi Koppl had a conversation with world-renowned translator Erik Pema Kunsang about his experiences with Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, and how he compiled Rinpoche's stories into this wonderful book.
Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche was the father of our teacher Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, as well as of the beloved teachers Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche, @Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche and Tsoknyi Rinpoche. A highly accomplished Dzogchen master, he gave advanced teachings freely to all. Together with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, he built the Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery and shedra (school). He resided at Nagi Gompa nunnery in the later part of his life.
During the conversation, Erik also gives advice to the Tara's Triple Excellence practitioners.
