I've been watching LSU football since the days of Alan Risher with Coach Jerry Stovall. This is a special season and a VERY special quarterback. I feel lucky just watching this kid play football.
Charlie Mac is the first coach I remember (and my first tiger was Mike III). Started going to games in 1962 at age 8 but my parents brought me a pennant from the 1958 National Championship game with a black and white picture of the team on it (Billy Cannon!). I was at the game Dec 5, 1970 - the Archie Who At LSU game and got to throw oranges on the field! Got to see Bert Jones play, went to all 3 National Championship games in the Dome (FIL works for Skip Bertman so got tickets for face value) and through all that and lots more, this is the year i’ve Waited for all my 65 years! Geaux Tigahs! And Sean Payton (love him, of course!) thought Jim Brady was making a mistake coming to LSU but he good naturedly said he was obviously wrong (Geaux Saints, Brees, Payton, Thomas, Kamara etc! Love my black and gold But I bleed purple and gold!

I 100% agree. The only difference is Tom Brady became the GOAT from nothing. 6th or 7th round pick I believe compared to Joe gonna be number 1 or 2 overall. But skill wise they are very identical

I'm a Hog. A University of Arkansas grad.... and I love this kid. Anyone that know's anything about this rivalry- realizes how crazy that statement is. I just can't say enough about this guy, just an absolutely impressive human being.
The one thing that they could've put in these videos. Is Joe Burrow said in the first game he started as an LSU quarterback against the Miami Hurricanes. He said as he walked up to the line of scrimmage. He stopped for a moment and said to himself " I'm the starting quarterback for LSU ". All of the issues we had at that position, and for all of the quarterbacks that refused to come to LSU. It really meant a lot to me personally. And I know our fan base are as equally thankful that he chose to become a Tiger. Along with the Coaching staff that changed our offensive approach. He has impacted our ability to attract the best QB's in the country. Having Joe Burrow is a plus in many different ways. And like I said before, I am 58 and tomorrow is not promised but I hope that Joe Burrow is a future LSU Head Coach. He can be our Steve Spurrier because I believe that guys like playing with and for guys like Joe. We got two guys that inspires confidence Coach O and Joe Burrow.

Many, if not most Ohio St fans thought Coach Meyer made a big mistake not naming Joe the starter after the ‘18 spring game. Haskins was great in ‘18 for sure, but Joe would have done the same, if not better, as he is a willing runner and so he is a real run threat. Haskins is a one dimensional QB.

Everyone thinks Ohio and LSU will fight it out but are forgetting that Clemson will beat Ohio’s ass. Ohio has had no tough opponents this year and almost got beat by wisconsin of all places
