The one my grandfather taught me 50 years ago and the only one I’ve ever used. Always wanted to use the snell knot but never took the time to learn. It’s really simple as per this demo!

I think its considered a knotless snell cause theres a usual knot after a traditional snell on the tag end after you synch the lines down

In our time the hook came with out hole.. That is the credit to long time run only single and tight loop for fishing.. 🎣🎣🎣🎣

I always hear Palomar knot is the strongest, but I find using an Improved Clinch knot has always worked best for me.
Polly knot is goog good!!!! I set's the hook with that knot!!!!
palomar and improved clinch are all you need for most inshore and freshwater fishing. they're all i use up to 60# or so. however, they're not the kind of knot you want to use with a bait hook. these knots give a hanging piece of bait a much more lifelike presentation.
