Bicester Heritage Scramblers - Caterham 21

As Scramblers' official lubricant partner, Motor Spirit's MD (and Caterham 21 owner) Guy Lachlan caught up with former Caterham Technical Director Jez Coates at Bicester Heritage's June Scramblers meet. A morning centred around Italian and convertible cars featured 9 Caterham 21s. This was the perfect opportunity to reflect on the difficulties Caterham faced leading up to 1994, and what that could mean for their new Electric Project V.

Fantastic to see, I remember visiting the factory during development as the radiator supplier, the cars were overheating due to packaging it almost horizontally in the low nosecone. During the day one of the engineers took me for a spin in a 21 and it was unforgettable.
Whenever I see a 21 now at a car show I still think it looks great.
