As a huge braves fan, I remember watching those Wakefield games against the pirates as a kid. We'd be out at the house on the Rappahannock river in Virginia watching the braves post dinner. Damn good games. They'd be like 1 - 0 games with Avery or Smolts or Glavine going the distance and Justice giving us the 1 run cushion we needed.
i get knuckle balls, they don't spin creating a floating motion... why don't we hear anything on pitchers using stick-em substances anymore? are insane rotations still way up there?
At lot of spin, unhitable
No spin, unhitable
It’s that middle ground that gets ya lit up
@@madethecut No spin: Also uncatchable.

When a catcher can’t get ahold of it, you know it’s a crazy pitch!
I'm glad to see Erik Kratz, he was my old baseball coach because his son was on it. He was a great player and coach.
I loved him when he played for the Astros for a short time

RIP Tim Wakefield
How tf do you catch a 89mph knuckling splitter. It's 89 mph and moves wherever it wants
Floats like a butterfly….. that’s all
I’m pretty sure Robert Coello threw a forkball right there
Least we forget the Nicro brothers .Sy Young award winners
Tim Wakefield was an amazing knuckleballer. Rest in peace.
That looks crazy as hell😂
Hi I’m a huge fan
Yankee legend, Eric Kratz
Baseball is so much fun🎉

I’d love to; any ideas you’d like to see?

What about Jhoan Duran’s 95mph splitter
Slurves are hard to hit

Jesus loves y’all and always will
If the other guy doesn't catch the ball🤔🤔
Robert Cuello’s pitch was a forkball
splitters have rotation
forkballs do not.
Catchers must hate this guy
Why is a strike called a "K"?
Because the player "struck" out. And the last letter is used to represent the strike out.
A strike is just called a strike🤨
@@dontbother4536 so why is a strikeout looking a backwards K?
@@oddo1121 a regular k indicates a swinging strikeout.. the backwards k indicates the batter struck out looking
@@kknight4189 doesn’t answer my question at all. already knew this. 😂
D’vers stupid
When it comes to knuckle balls all of you in knowing kids should look yo Phil Neikro that was the greatest knuckles in history
