I have seen this brother sing live at least 6 times in several types of venues and he killed it everytime and I've caught him singing Acapella at a bar in Detroit and he can blow. Versus was just a bad set. If you have actually seen him live then you know. Usually Amir (hope I spelled it right) has the high quality takes to add needed flavor to the podcast, but this one was definitely off. If you are a singer or understand live music engineering you know how hard it can be for artists who can't sing or can't project based on the venue. I've seen Musiq in a bar, at an open air venue and at an ampitheater off the Detroit River. He did his thing every time. Say I'm caping for Musiq ,I'll take that.
