The first bike I learned to ride on with a clutch was a Suzuki TS 400 and a Suzuki TS 250. This video brings back some great memories.
Luv that sound!! Rata-tat- tat!!
Looks and sounds amazing!
Tuned perfectly!! The old wizard tune! Sounds crisp right through the rev range, idles nice and low. Perfect. God bless kaplan cycles❤
A beauty
❤ all 2 stroke stuff
I love the sound of an open stinger in the morning 😆
Awesome bike...brings back great memories: )
Cold start, well done sir. Sweet motorbike as well. Had TC90 same year. Life is good on motorcycles.
Ultra Rare piece of MX History right there...
I started out with a 1970 TC-90, Then had 2 of the TS-185’s, 1 of the TS-250’s and a 1972 TS-400 all during the 1970’s. Plus I had 2 of the TM-125’s
Is that what I think it is 1970 Suzuki ts250 Savage my sister had one we still have the picture of her on it on with she was 16 she got in a accident on it road down a hill in the dirt between two pine trees got all scratched up but she's all right awesome video Ken and Ronnie Kaplan Cycles number one God Bless America❤
Man thats a great sounding exhaust there's something about those downpipe stingers man there's nothing like it what a gorgeous bike
Sweet
It’s the TS which was their street and trail bike.
Wow that's a rare beast
Gorgeous vintage 2 stroke. Love the sound of that stinger pipe. Wizard has that bike tuned perfectly, as always. As far as the rippers, strippers, and beers...I'll take the rippers. Somebody else can have the strippers and beers. Strippers get men in trouble, and I always thought that beer tasted nasty. Lol
Damn that thing sounds badass
Nice
Salut Kaplan America elle est magnifique superbe moto vive les usa David le français ❤
Nice, thar will sell for lots
The old bikes can be deceiving in physical size compared to modern bikes. Bikes were so much smaller back then but still packed 2stroke power!
And has that crazy sound more than newer 2 strokes any day!!
I'm 15yr old and i have vintage rm400. What an monster
That model was my second Suzuki 70 ts first was 70 tc 90
dont ever disconnect the oil injection on any suzuki ..there are two oil lines on these singes ..one goes to the intake and mixed with the air and fuel ..but there is a second oil line that goes to the left main bearing and the big end bearing of the connecting rod that are sealed off front the crank case ..so if you remove the oil pump and oil line the laft main bearing and bottom end rod bearing never gets any oil ...and besides the suzuki oil injection never failed because suzuki was the only motorcycle to drive the oil pump off the transmission main shaft .that results in having an oil pump that turns much slower never abused by crankshaft high frequency that kills other brand pumps , but not ever on a suzuki .they just keep pumping and pumping and pumping and pumping
Nothing better than the smell of burning 2 stroke oil in a suzuki mmmmm.
