@@febisworld7791 - It turned out that my radio is not equipped to accept a camera, so I bought a rear view mirror that has a built-in video screen. For the camera, I bought a license plate frame with a built-in camera. They both came with instructions, and the instructions are simple, and the installation is simple enough, so no video is necessary.
I do not mind that I ended up with the image on my mirror instead of on my navigation screen. Looking up at the mirror when backing is just natural after years of driving, and while the image is smaller, it's still big enough. No problem with that.
I did encounter one problem: No image. It turned out that the cable that came with the camera was defective. That was an easy fix, of course.
@@johnstorton I’m getting an AHD compatible screen and dang is it complicated Gotta find a way to hide and wire it all the way back and drill a hole right in the middle above the plate but kinda hidden a way but still be able to open the trunk jeezus!!! any ways got it done but dang

Hello, nice job on that. I'm just wondering did the old screen (radio and aircon info) you placed below fit into the console facia without any problems? I take it that facia may have come with the unit as I'm seeing them on ebay. Also did you need a double harness to connect both radios? Cheers from down under in Australia.

How is it?
I just received today, attempted to install and the harness provided was incorrect for my vehicle. I own a 2009 Honda Accord LX-P this was for the audio portion. The radio does power on however.
Here are some things to note.
Apart from the cheap plastic hooks behind the aftermarket screen nothing else is really securing it to the vehicle and that goes for the info screen that is relocated to lower part of the dash. I mean there are screw holes on the bottom left and right sides of the new trim peice but the top part trim of the lower screen is flimsy as all hell.
You'll probably want to install car launcher pro on here and have it default to that because the firmware that comes with this unit may seem very limiting. I may flash another version of android on this unit. Keep in mind the hardware limitations.
GPS that comes with unit DOES work and works fairly well. "iGO" was the pre installed app that came with this unit for me. It works well but when playing music you can tell that it would like to notify you of changes happening on the road but no voice guidance. Lol so music volume lowers but gps doesn't speak.
My resolve for the no sound problem was going to best buy and purchasing a male rca to male auxiliary (15 bucks) and using the audio outs on the rear of the headunit and plugging the 3.5mm jack into the center console factory jack input. Then setting factory radio which still work btw to aux and voila sound!
The ebay user I purchased it from was useless in assisting me in any of my issues so I felt stuck with it and had to make it work on my own. Keep in mind they're usually going to be selling this from China and they can give a rats ass after the money hits their accounts. Try and be as patient as you possibly can. My package was held in customs for about a week and all I was told was that it can take up to a few days. Bruh it's been a week. 🤦♂️ Don't mean to whine but come on some more info would have been nice. I'll pay the taxes on it if need be just hurry up lol. I used the link provided by this video to make my purchase. Item came intact, all harnesses neccessary for it to power on but no audio. Brackets and trim peices. A cheapo manual that only explains usage of device once active but no manufacturer info and no installation info.
Overall I'm happy with my purchase because it added bluetooth and navigation to the vehicle and many other features. Next is backup cam. If anyone knows of a good quality backup cam for decent price lmk in a reply to this comment. Thanks in advance.

Question: Why does my Accord have a different configuration compared to other Accords of the same year/Gen? Mine has a small screen at the bottom. I bought the car from a private owner and I forgot to ask him about it. Mine is basically missing all the buttons and knobs below the AC controls.

Theres so many of these types for honda accord. So many brands. Is the android version important? Theres 9.1 android os version to 10.1 etcc. Which one should be the best or best brand cause all of them looks and function the sane? There is cheaper one that looks exactly like this one

If you don’t have an audio coming out of the screen make sure the audio plug is connect the audio plug is different from the power plug

You had to disconnect I know the plug that has three cable besides the power plug there is another on the back on the radio close to that power plug that’s the one that’s going to do the sound that three cable plug goes to jack and the glove box

Jessenia Reyes Fadi Faisal I just wanna let you know that my screen come with three different connections on the back that means you only have to use the one that has three cables The Jack is and the glow box in the center you need to unplug that connection on your radio you had to disconnect and put the harness that is included on the screen

hey this radio killed my brand new car battery, what would do this? i noticed the radio never turns off like when i start the car its as if it was on stand by the whole time there is no boot screen. its wired correctly as its just plug and play harness
