You know, I've always loved Stephanie but it was rather satisfying seeing her get a little comeuppance in that opening scene with Brooke. She thought she was so clever bringing Stephen back but all it took was one person to consider "the other guy's wife" and she was in panic mode! And her face when Brooke spoke back to her after she said what Beth had done to her life - she couldn't believe Brooke stood up to her! 😆 And Brooke was right on that point. It was Eric that pressed ahead with the "affair" and the divorce and didn't want to be with Stephanie anymore, and Steph knows it. Beth tried to push him away several times in the early stages because she didn't want to hurt Steph.
And especially the fact her own son came up with it, they think so much alike

Even if you are are Stephanie fan you have a voice of reason
And like I said before if you think about it broke that's the last laugh cuz she does end up marrying her son not once but several times and more than one of them and Ridge even stands up to his mom in support of Brooke several times so who is the winner here Brooke I think
Stephanie acts as if everything that is happening is solely Beth's actions. As if Beth had put a spell on Eric, LOL. We know that Eric was looking to get a divorce long before Beth came along. If it weren't for Beth, she would be another woman.
This build up to the scandalous evening is just the best!!
Stephanie going on about how writing that note isn't terrible, how it might reunite a family, save her marriage.... but then she ends it all with that if Brooke will tell anyone about his conversation Stephanie will deny it (that she wrote the letter).

Exactly she goes on and on about how good it is and she was so terrible about bringing back a father to their family but then she doesn't want anybody to know if she did it because she knows she did it for all the wrong reasons and it was evil because if it was a good deed and you felt good about it why wouldn't you want everybody to know 🙄
I can see how much work Stephanie puts behind saving her marriage by bringing back a presumed dead husband who,s wife threatens to take Stephanie husband Eric away from her. Also how can Stephanie hold on to Eric who obviously doesn't love her but loves another. I love seeing the battles between Stephanie and Brooke and I predict there will be many more to come

Stephanie was foolish to admit to that letter inadvertantly, she now opened a Pandora into the spiraling of her marriage. Brooke is now determined to get revenge and she will get it.
Stephanie was so determined to stay anonymous when Weston was hired to find Stephen Logan only to have Brooke get it out of her easily. This was unlike Stephanie to be so sloppy.
This is the first time I've seen Setefanie acting stupidly . She should have told Ridge the whole story and he would have ended it with the snake opportunistic Brooke!

True but her marriage were for sure be over. Secrets kept her marriage alive in this period. Same goes for Beth. She should have told Stephen that she was marrying Eric and that she would never resume her marriage. And if he wouldn’t leave then she would move in with Eric. That would have settled it. Instead, she kept the relationship a secret and let things linger/fester for too long.
