Look, I don't like Jake either, but this is literally how the journey of a boxer goes. You fight tomato cans to build up your record, and then you start facing legit fighters later on. The only difference is that Jake's tomato can fights are PPVs instead of at off-the-grid fight clubs.

In fact, he fought harder opponents than 90% of bro boxers out there at this stage of their career! Just check what kind of record your favourite boxers 10th opponent had? 😂😂😂
I'm a boxer myself & when I go pro... I would not want to pad my record cuz I refuse to not be taken seriously. I'd rather fight people who has winning records. I'm talking guys wit 4-5 fight win streaks, who has at least 1 world title & has fought in some of the biggest arenas in boxing. If I wanna be a future world champ, I gotta fight other future world champs.

Jake Paul had no amateur career. He turned pro after 1 fight this is basically his amateurs with people's attention. But even then he is facing tougher opponents than most boxers did at Jake's stage. One guy said he rigged boxing match with "journeyman" when kid's being training for 3+ years now, doesn't really do anything else. I get the casuals are uneducated but boxing community is honestly toxic.

Although his opponent wasn't all that, for me I go off by previous performances. And this Jake looked quite smoother from his other fights, no happy feet like last fight, punch variation is getting better, body work.
It wasn't much but hopefully next fight he'll fight a natural cruiserweight journeymen.

In that last barrage, Jake missed with almost every punch.
This was quite literally the worst boxing event i've watched to date. I didn't turn the stream off in the hopes that the main event wouldn't dissapoint but it didn't even go ahead and happen. Jake Paul is ruining the sport of boxing, one fight at a time.
