    Lay a polythene bag over the piece it will stop the Cider Vinegar and Water from evaporating so much. TIP... Turn the polythene bag inside out to stop any print coming off.

    Love it. I just saw powertex on you tube and I ordered some materials. Your explanation is very clear.
    May I ask what for background you used. Wood or ????
    I have to see so much more before I get it.
    Love from a dutch girl living in Portugal. Thank you ❤️

    I want to use this on paper in art books. What other medium can I mix the rusty powder with? I’m not have much luck getting the rust effect on my papers , I’m soaking the paper in vinegar, dusting with Rust Powder then drying. I’m getting black spots and a very small amount of rust. Tried crackling paste all all I got was black.

    Does it work with powertex bronze as well or do I need ivory or transparent?

    • @powertexaustralia9230
      @powertexaustralia9230  Před rokem

      Hey Isali... thanks for watching... I haven't tried the rusty powder with the Bronze Powertex ... simply because its dark and you probably won't get the beautiful orange rust colours that you get with the Ivory & Transparent... its definitely worth experimenting though... bot Ivory & Transparent are worth having in your mixed media kit though☺😜

    Can you use this on Black Card instead of painting with powertex not that I mind.

    • @powertexaustralia9230
      @powertexaustralia9230  Před 3 lety

      Card would probably warp - but you could just paint you canvas with black gesso or acrylic paint instead of black Powertex if you wish

    hi, I intend to use this for terrain scenery buildings for miniature tabletop games, and I have a couple of questions:
    I guess when you just say powertex ivory or transparent you mean acrylic colors (ivory white and medium), right?
    And, are we creating actual rust?? if so, that's amazing, we're used to just simulate it..
    thanks!
