  • The cottage witch harvests unique fruits from the permaculture orchard and vineyard in early autumn. This sensory garden tour features native plants, edible landscaping, and pollinator flowers. During the tour, harvest some uncommon fruits and nuts: flying dragon citrus (Citrus trifoliata), chinquapin chestnut (Castanea pumila), muscadine and scuppernong grape (Vitus rotundifolia), and che fruit (Maclura tricuspidata)! All of the fruits grow in US zone 7 (where Mossvale is located) with little disease or pest pressure making them great plants for edible landscaping and wildlife gardening. The wildflowers mentioned in this video are goldenrod (Solidago sp.) and blue mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum), but many others are blooming in the background and scenery too. Hope you enjoy!
