    In Greece SYM's are best sellers and the price for the HD 300 at this moment is 3700 euros with a 2 year guaranty. Excellent value for money!

      How much for the sh300 i. Greece? In portugal is something like 5500eur! Crazy! Bought one used with 3000km for 3500eur in 2012 and still riding it after 60000km.

      SH300 worth every euro you pay.. is by far the best and the most sporty scooter you can buy under the 6000e.
      With super quality and extremely reliability. The engine goes for more than 150000 if you do the right maintenance.. The HD300 SYM is the bastard kid of Beverly and SH.. Too ugly for me..

    I put 37000 km on a SYM Citycom 300i with 16 inch front and rear. Stock the handling was spooky. With Michelin Citygrips the handling was transformed. Much more stable. I did 3300 km in the mountains of British Columbia in a week and it was great fun.

    The main problem of this bike (here in Greece) is the price. Starting price 3995 Euros with the leader of the category (Beverly 300) at 3990 (most of the time as offer from 4450). As a result the dropped the price at 3695( i suppose it runs as long Piaggio runs her offer).

    • @georgem2456
      @georgem2456 Před 4 lety

      And how is the price a problem ? It is significantly more powerful than the Beverly, has the same build quality (although only time can tell for sure about that), has a very good and dependable trouble free engine and more warranty years. And it is still cheaper.
      Don't get me wrong, I like the design of the Beverly, although it has become a bit boring,since it has been around for so much long. What I don't like is the ultra expensive parts and maintenance services and the unreliability which has to do with the water pump and electronics. Yeap, classic Italian vehicle.

    • @Minaras12345
      @Minaras12345 Před 4 lety

      You cannot i believe compete the best seller of the category if you dont have a competitive price. I like SYM (HD200 was extremely VFM scooter) but Piaggio has a stronger Brand Name(despite all the problems with Beverly) and its a difficult decision if both scooters have the same price.
      P.S: I Believe a price around 3500E would be a sweet spot. (Dont forget that the engine was ready from Citycom along with other parts of the frame).

    What I like about scooters u don't have to worry about oil changes and the engine messing up or leaking on u like cars. Cars are a hassle cause of the payments and insurance. With a scooter u have to worry about insurance payments as well as someone stealing it.

    • @paulnorman8274
      @paulnorman8274 Před 4 lety

      The difference between the rolling circumference of typical 15s and 17s are less than one would immediately assume, since almost all 17" wheeled scooters have tires which are narrower and less tall than typical 15" tires. there's still a difference, but less so than back in the day when all bike tires were equally skinny.

    People don’t get confused in terms of China and Taiwan, when it comes to quality control.
    Taiwan has taken the US standards of quality control and it has been working very well.
    I’ve ridden sports, cruisers, adventure touring and scooters. For me I ride my Harley 1300 custom on long winded trips or for shits and giggles, but the majority of my daily riding is on my Kymco Downtown 350i. I just hate changing gears on a consistent level, especially on heavy bloody traffic and I pay just around $12 AU every week at 250km both ways.
    Vehicle company’s will always give an estimate on fuel consumption and also SYM is made in Taiwan and so does Kymco. You might be thinking of the shit box company Hyosung hahahahaha!!!
