No they can’t steal your funds, everything will still be in your wallet even you stake with a pool.

What if the ban/remove cdc defi or shit down servers? Can you recover your coins from another wallet? Seems like cefi and defi are basically the same thing if company owns/controls the app or Google play/apple store.
