Lantern Rise is part of the Ultimate Rise family of slots and it's a great one where you win by landing winning pay lines and to help, wild symbols may land on all reels and when they do, they nudge to fully occupy the reel where they landed.
The Ultimate Rise Bonus is initiated by landing 6 or more lantern symbols and may be randomly initiated whenever less than 6 lanterns land after which you enter a Hold & Spin Feature to collect more lanterns where the more you collect, the more more free spins you are awarded all the way to a maximum of 100! The Free Games Bonus begins after you Fill the Screen or run out of spins where your spin count is reset to 3 whenever an additional lantern lands.
During the Free Games Bonus, you start out with a standard reel set and each time a special symbol lands it will evaluate to either a Credit Prize, an Extra Row(max 3!), a Progressive Jewel, or 3 additional spins. The more rows you have, the more pay lines you have so you want to max out your rows as quickly as possible and then of course accumulate extra spins in order to have a better shot at being awarded progressives and additional prizes!

It is Super Rare to get back to back bonus on this machine. I like ladder betting also and this game has nudging Wilds and a lucky rumble feature. Fun game but sometimes challenging to get the progressive jackpots unless you can start off with a lot of spins and extra spins in the bonus game. Thanks for posting

I found this game in Carson city on my Reno trip and tried it but had no luck. This game has lots of potential and is so cool. Love how you kept getting the rumble! Wish it would’ve gave you a mini and minor but still a great session overall Tim!

Fun game. Didn't get the chance to play this while on my trip... trip would have been better had I not been greedy... I did have fun overall, and it will be a while before I do anything else long distance...
Enough about me... this was a good session, overall... I see that you may have to revisit this game for the real prize potential, as this game and the other version of it with the butterfly symbols, has massive win potential... I saw it first hand watching someone play it... they got a handpay on the lowest bet, I believe it was 50 cent...

Last i believe anyone who says these things are random. You have nearly all progressive symbols filled then somehow nothing added for 14 more games. SOunds predetermined to me like 88 Fortunes Prog Bonus.

So certainly all games aren't designed in the same way and in this case, either progressives are all predetermined(likely the case) or the odds of landing the last one dramatically rise. Thanks for watching and commenting!
The outcome of a bonus is 100% predetermined at the moment you press the button. Nothing will change that. The only thing that can vary on SOME machines is when you get the progressive pick feature.
The reality is more nuanced than that my friend, depending on the game you are playing. How do I know this? I've spoken with actual game designers at multiple manufacturers who have confirmed it.

Last word on this from me: Do you think the designer of Kraken Unleashed would lie to my face when I asked him the question? What possibly could be his motivation for doing so? There is no vested interest because at the end of the day, the outcome is the outcome - it's just interesting to know how it works. My background is Computer Engineering: for much of my career I've designed software for a living - I'm not coming at this from a point of ignorance. To be clear, on this particular game, when I initiated the bonus I believe all was settled. On a game like Kraken Unleashed, it is not. There are two basic types of game designs out there and they both don't follow the same rules.

Well, as with almost all games, the outcome on a singular bonus may not be what we expect, but as I recall I almost doubled up, so I certainly don't consider that horrible on any level! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the video, appreciated as always. This math model is poor - that Free Game sequence where they had you so close to the progressives and then never gave you one was shameful. That and the obvious stacks of mysteries offset so you can never win them….. Also that reel clicking sound is a cacophony. Hope this isn’t a regular for you 😂!

So yes, I do enjoy the game and like it or not, there is a trend toward creating games that lack reel independence. Everi has been doing it forever and now others are joining the party, and while I generally don't like them, I think this one is one the right track.
