Phum and Perm are what’s called a situation- ship. They aren’t yet official but have done some stuff that crossed the line already. It makes sense for a slow burn considering how they started.
I’m glad they didn’t kiss in this episode i literally need them to TALK! I’m glad kluen arrived to make phum wake up a little 😭😭😭

Yeah I don’t understand why Phum and Peem won’t just confess to each other. Like they have literally kissed multiple times so there’s no need to keep tip toeing around each other. Idk maybe there’s something I'm missing but it’s not like they have a legitimate reason not to tell each other how they feel. Like I get that they have this whole slave deal but it's not like they’ve rly been following it since ep 4 or something so Idk.
I think Q and Toey have a more valid reason for dancing around each other like this since Q only found out about Toey being "Milk Frappe boy" AFTER the kiss and now it probably feels weird for them to pick up where they left off prior to Q finding out about the whole situation. Toey did however say that he loves Q which means Q is aware of Toey's feelings for him so it’s up to him to tell Toey how he feels right now. And the reason they’re still going along with this jealousy plan is because they wanna push Q until he snaps and actually tells Toey how he feels. We know Q isn’t good with his words but Toey needs a proper confession from Q which is why their situation is more complicated.
But from the looks of the preview both couples will be confessing next episode so YAY.
Hoenesly guys I really feel for phum because I was once like that and on till now am still single just because I was not active on time but I no that sooner or later phum and peem will definitely end up together because they are met to be ❤ i just love them so much ❤they really cute

First, I’m unsure if Jericho was serious about his age but if so you look good!
Regarding the story, do I wish it would move faster? Yes. Is this a genius way to keep viewership up? Also, yes. No matter how frustrated viewers are, We Are invested and We Are going to tune in next week.
Not only are we driving ratings for GMMTV and IQIYI, but we’re also scouring social media in the hopes that the cast will give us a glimpse of what’s to come. The writers are doing what needs to be done. Giving us just enough to keep coming back for 16 episodes.
I suspect GMM is testing a new theory on how much commitment they can get from audiences with longer shows. It’ll take trial and error and some filler episodes, but I’m always here for an experiment.
I have my money on QToey next week, and PhumPeem the week after.
Loved Tan & Fang’s backstory. It explains why Tang’s first instinct was to punch Q when he hurt Toey’s feelings.
I wonder if Phum’s hesitation is tied to whatever he has going on with his father. We haven’t addressed that since episode 1 or 2, so hoping the writers close the loop.

Kissing someone and then being a couple is not that easy, the same thing happened to me, after a kiss, someone came to make my ex jealous and then we just started. It's not easy for some people
I think one of the reason why they kinda got a bit slow for the last 2 episodes because they literally just finished shooting for the series the day ep 9 aired.
I love fangtan backstory and moments between phoom and pheem but I can't figure out why these people are not confessing their love to each other. I mean peem can confess to phoom right??. Why are they expecting phum to do it. Peem seems to be sure of his feelings for phoom.Same goes for toey too. If they are gonna continue with their plan with toey and chain for another episode ,I'm gonna loose my shit.My patience could never 😭.These people share a single freaking barincell for sure.
well you seem to forget Toey already confessed and Q said to him "I don't want to listen to you anymore" or smth like that - The ball is totally on Qs side now. I admit that i don't understand the kisses between Phum and Peem and then not talking about it properly. they are not 15 but 20 y.o. at the moment.

@@katharinaharmsen2991it’s not that phum and peem aren’t talking about it properly. they are in a kind of situation ship where they know where they stand with each other and that there’s something more there. they’ve done everything but verbally confess which I don’t mind bc some relationships don’t need a label but I also want them to talk about their feelings. there’s obviously some insecurities on both ends. they didn’t start out on the best of terms, most of their kisses have been out of instinct, so it’s natural that they’re trying to take the time to figure out exactly what kind of relationship they want before they jump into something.
believe it or not, a lot of irl relationships happen like this. love is difficult, confusing and complicated. but I think they’ve all been progressing(except for chainpun🥲) in their own ways.
I get why they are carrying on with the jealousy storyline for QToey. Q seems to just be happy with Toey following him around all the time. He only kissed Toey because Chain was hitting on Toey, and Toey was spending time with Chain instead of Q. Then Q found out Toey was milk frappe, Toey told him he was in love with him, but Q let Toey cry all night while he just hung out with his friends, then he ignored him at college, then took him for lunch which was totally out of character, and didn't say anything, and then ignored him some more when they were putting up posters, and only spoke to Toey when Toey asked him to stop being weird. It seems like Q is just going to carry on like nothing ever happened, unless he feels again like Toey might be taken from him. It's a typical I don't want to date you but I don't want anyone else to date you.

Ths show did well until episode 7.This is some lazy writing for sure. Its freaking 16 episodes. A little bit of planning and thought would have given enough time to all couples and their stories. Its such a wasted opportunity

The only good thing about this episode was TanFang!! I was annoyed the majority of the episode... the show was doing fine till ep 7 then it just kept on going downhill with the whole jealousy trope...
QToey were my favorite but they ruined it... I dont like how Toey is enjoying seeing Q get hurt like this, it seems manipulative. It could've been so much better if they had Toey flirt with Q in this episode instead.
When it comes to phumpeem, we arent getting enough context which is why most of us who didnt read the book are so confused... acc. to the book, phum's father is very homophobic and phum has been lonely most of his life which is why he's still attached to his plushies (i thought gmmtv was just tryna sell stuff) and that's why he doesnt talk about his feelings with anyone.
Anyway i agree with everything you guys said this ep!! I hate the back and forth, its cute the first 1-2 times then it's just lazy writing. Like I'm srry but KangMoo are a 100 times more mature than this whole gang😂 and i get it, it's different shows but most of these characters are so... one dimensional...

Ok I will speak for toey here, I don't think toey is being manipulative just desperate. He already confessed to q in ep 7 but q doesn't want to listen and you are talking about flirting which he tried in ep 8 but got shunned by q again. He didn't want to do this whole jealous thing first but the gang convinced him credit goes to pun ofcourse. After nearly four years he seeing some hope so he is just loosing it.
As for q, he only listened about that pencil senior and milk frappe boy not chain fake talking thing. After knowing that toey is milk frappe boy on whom he disappeared, q is in guilt, confused and knowing that chain likes(fake) toey he is not acting on his feelings, but in the next episode as shown in the preview he won't be able to take it anymore.
As for why they are going for this jealous scheme is because q is a tsundere and hides his feelings and only acts when his boundaries are threatened, we saw it in ep 3 when that senior was flirting with toey.
And they got only got few minutes screentime for the last two episodes and I don't know why they are dragging it.

@user-tx2ho3qt2d no I understand everything you are saying and I also agree with it but the issue is the dragging things out part and also... they need to give us more insight into what these characters are thinking cuz I shouldn't have to read a whole character analysis on twitter to understand the character's motivations😭

I think we might be too old 😂. When I was in college I let many opportunities slip by but now that I'm older I'm quick to snatch. I also think their personalities and situations are affecting their choices. Q is akward and sucks at expressing his emotions so even if he might've guessed his friends intentions he's still stuck. Peem and phum are technically in a contract so even if it's not mentioned they are both still aware of it and do not know how to navigate their feelings around it. They pretend it doesn't exist until they need an excuse to fall back into. So they're stuck in a situationship. Tan is impulsive so it made sense he got his man first but there might be problems later. Chain and pun are too close to realize their own feelings. They are literally the ones their friends all roll their eyes at. Let's see what next week brings 😂.
This is legit pissing me off. Phum and Peem have kissed TWICE, surely there should’ve been a conversation about it or one of them should made a move but nooooo we have to have ANOTHER jealousy trope. I thought this new guy would be upfront and just ask Peem out so he realises just how into Phum he is. Q and Toey kissed, they’ve been inlove with each other for a while, Q went all poetic about Toey but nothing has changed. I don’t even know what Fang and Tan are doing because it’s the same thing since they got together, the back story was nice. So Fang throws hands once you disrespect him huh 😂. The other couple is non existent…
I get what the friends are trying to do (not saying that it’s right I still agree with what peem said and feel like they should work it out on their own) because now Q knows it’s fake but now they’re trying to make Q admit out loud I guess that he likes and want toey everyone keeps saying why won’t Toey make a move or something but he did he literally said he loved Q and always have infront of Q and the friends and Q said he didn’t want to hear it so technically Toey did make his move now it’s basically Q turn to make the next move and either turn Toey down or reciprocate back. But I do think Q still needs time it’s not like weeks have went by it’s still just less than a week when he found out his first love who he felt guilty for disappearing on and though hated him is the same guy who he’s started to like a lot and could love that’s a lot to take in so it’s not strange for Q to be acting wishy washy cause he’s confused af rn I would be too. But them trying to force it out of him the jealousy way is hella dangerous he can either explode and confess his feeling and get into it with his friends or chain or he could literally back off and distance himself even more from toey so they should be careful with the whole situation and know when and when not to insert themselves like how peem and beer does those 2 are the only ones who know when to step into a situation. And I feel like peem is only hanging out with the guy ( can’t remember his name) is because the guy said he didn’t have any friends that came with him so peem being peem probably didn’t want him to be alone and lonely cause peem can be to nice sometimes but I just need them to confess now because it is obvious they like each other I think their just both scared cause they can’t tell if it’s a they really like me and wanna date me type of thing or if it’s a we’re only like this cause we’re hanging together cause this “deal” idk how to explain it but it is possible for some people to only want a person cause their around and not actually want them ( not saying that’s them) but all I know is they do need to stop this back and fourth with those two couple now and also give us more pun and chain stuff all they do is look at each other we need something new now like a accidental kiss or something

Now it's just getting annoying at this point.
So frustrating to watch a great cast with bad writing/direction. If I was part of this veteran cast, I would have been frustrated/red up with the script and only dealt with it because I get to hang out with my friends.

It would have been "perfect" for the camera to turn to the friends, they are staring at Peem/Phum cuddling and playing, then they start smirking/giggling/shock.
Fang and Beer glance over, give a smirk look, and go back to sleep.
Maybe give each couple one of two episodes, to clear the air and establish what kind of relationship they have (friendship, love, FWB, enemy). Finally, wrap up the series.
