ASMR is essentially a made up acronym (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response ) used to describe that tingly / buzzing feeling you may have experienced in your head or running down your spine. The sensation can be triggered by personal attention, tutorials, sounds etc. If you are discovering "ASMR" videos for the first time, their primary purpose is just to relax and almost always to send the listener to sleep.
Matt, you're one of the few that promote a sponsor in a special way that gets viewers actually interested in their product. Kudos my friend.
Well that means a lot because i'm still coming to terms with even accepting sponsors! Having said that, i've said no to some really scary money from sponsors I didn't believe in or felt I had no business exposing my listeners to. I really love apps like skillshare and think they offer great value :D

Matt, I’ve been watching you for a few years now. You were popular enough long ago to start having sponsors. That, along with the things you said during your videos, led me to believe it was about something different than money to you. So when you started having sponsors, I was sure they were services or products you believed in and probably used yourself. You established yourself as someone who cares about people first, and that means a lot.

I used to only fall asleep to feminine voices, and male ASMRtists were more of an appetizer (what cool innovative things are they doing?! How are they doing?!), but lately I’ve found it’s really easy to fall asleep to your videos. Not quite sure what it is yet, but my brain enjoys it!

This is such a great video, I'm on my second run through of it. I love your videos. i find them very informative and thoughtful. Now, I noticed something and that was what you said about how a blood pressure cuff works...with some history I didn't learn how to use a blood pressure cuff until I was a nursing student as a mature student (I think I'm just a little older than you) and I haven't finished my studies so I was in my early to mid 30s. I don't want to seem rude or anything so if you don't want to know and the decision was on purpose cause it doesn't have to be canonical with real life, then ignore the next paragraph.
The blood pressure cuff measures the diastolic and systolic pressure of the blood flow through the heart. When the cuff is pumped up the aim is to obliterate the pulse...essentially stop blood flow. Once achieved you slowly let the air out and by using the diaphragm of a stethoscope, which would be place on the brachial artery, you pay attention to the numbers on the cuff. You can't generally hear the brachial artery but because of the built up pressure it causes turbulent flow and for a short period of time you can. The first beat you hear is your first number that is the systolic pressure and then you continue to listen until you don't hear anymore and that is the second number known as diastolic pressure, hence numbers like 135/90.

Hi Matt, there are 11 stadiums on the planet that can hold over 100,000 people. The largest is in India and can seat 132,000 people. If everyone who likes and subs your vids were to gather at that one spot on the planet, that stadium could only hold 2/3rds of them. Thought that was neat to think about.
