- Hey Guys! Term 3 starts today for Warwick students, but sadly I won't be spending it at uni (We hate Ms Rona!) BUT, in loving memory of our cancelled Term 3 plans, here's a fun video I made, not only to share with you all the memories that I am grateful to have experienced, but also to share some wisdom (tea or wuteva) that I wish I would've known before coming to uni.
Most of this will be specific to Warwick, but obviously there will be general advice that will be applicable to all unis.

Hey!! This video was really helpful :-) what accommodation would u recommend for a good social and academic balance? Is rootes too much on the party side or is it like sometimes chill? I know first year doesn’t count so do you think it’s still worth it to study a lot? Or maybe like 60% study 40% social, parties etc

sherbourne all the way, i was there for my first year and i made the greatest friends ever. each flat was full of people who knew how to party but also knew how to get their work done !! it’s a bit on the pricey side, but imo it’s worth it 100%.

I’m doing GCSEs this year and I saw this university had a course that I was super interested in taking . I believe I have acceptable predicted grades. But I’m not a fan of drinking. Do you think there are ways I can go out without having to get flat out drunk?
Also, how diverse is the uni? I’m a pangender lesbian so I just want to gage how well I’d fit in. This uni looks great for me, but obviously if I can’t be myself, what’s the point, right?
Don't feel like i'm attacking you here ,but aren't pangender and lesbian contradictory terms as in ,how can you be a lesbian ie a women attracted to a women when you don't refer to yourself as a women.
@@titchyASSASSIN no, it’s ok. I only like women (I use lesbian as a loose term, you have to understand). I don’t mind any pronouns though but I’ve lived most of my life as a female, and so have identified closely with lesbian which still feels most comfortable to me. I understand the confusion, but I hope I cleared things up!

I live near the uni and it is in one of the nicest parts of the entire city, you'll spend more time in Leamington than cov, which is a lot nicer. I've never felt unsafe tbh.
Can't be worse than East London so I'm not concerned
