Capetonian here - you will fall in love with our beautiful country for sure! February is high summer here, but we always prepare for 3 seasons due to the lovely ocean breeze.
So much to do here with loads of beautiful wine farms, food markets and of course the mountain. Look into things like Oranjezight market, Franschhoek wine tram, Lion's Head hiking, Boulders Beach for the penguins, kayaking in Simon's town and Blouberg beach for the iconic Mountain View.... Cape Town is also very famous for our amazing food scene. You have to check out some of our amazing restaurants. Definitely come for at least 10 days :)
Hi Ashley, I am from South Africa and have been to Cape Town multiple times. You can wear lovely sun dresses, long dresses, any kind of dress. Especially when you are coming in February. February is one of the most beautiful times in Cape Town. There is a lot of activities to do. Definitely do Table Mountain and Lion's Head hike while you're here. The V&A Waterfront is a must as well. Camps Bay is beautiful as well. You can do a Chapman's Peak drive as well, it's the most beautiful scenery you will ever see. Cape Town has nice sunny weather and it's such a pretty place to visit. I can't wait for you to come to South Africa especially Cape Town - you will love it 🇿🇦🇿🇦

Hi Ashley! When you're in Cape Town I highly recommend going to Boulders Beach, it's a small beach with African penguins on it 😍. That's definitely a must!
You definitely need to do the 3 peaks (lions head, devils peak, table mountain) and go to camps bay for great beach vibes and restaurants. Try to do surfing or shark cage diving! I also took a tour of one of the townships when I was there and it was so wonderful to learn about the history and lasting affects of apartheid.
The winelands in Cape Town are beautiful! If you love adventure there are also tons of activities from bungee jumping to skydiving to seal snorkeling. The food in Cape Town is also amazing. Take a boat from the V & A Waterfront at sunset; you can see the whole city from the water and the sunsets in Africa are STUNNING🤩

From South Africa, spent a lot of time in that province. Feb is warm there, so pack cool, though bring a jacket or two, light ones for if it gets chilly at night. Something to do there is definitely do wine tastings, they're close to Cape Town.
Yayyyy from a South African fan for coming to Cape Town!! ❤️🥳 it's usually very windy in Cape Town so make sure you have some jackets but also it is summer so it will be warm. Definitely have to go for a tour on top of Table Mountain and you should also go for a wine tasting as Cape Town is renowned for its wineries. ❤️

February is the middle of summer here, so be prepared for the heat! Cape Town has very unpredictable weather so bring things you can layer with. Bring all the sun cream and mosquito repellant and just enjoy yourself!

Hey Ashley ❤️ happy early birthday. I lived in Cape Town for 5 years and still visit once or twice a year as my mom's family lives there.
In February I would say the weather is very summery with windy and chilly evenings especially if close to a beach. So I would carry both summer and light winter clothes.
To do:
Table mountain (cable way or hike)
Signal hill and lions head (hike or car)
Paragliding (can't remember if it is signal hill or lions head)
V and A water front for lunch and boat cruise at sunset
Langebaan
Clifton
Blaauwberg
Stellenbosh vineyards
Cape point
Perhaps the hop on hop off bus
And there are tons of great thrift shops and restaurants depending on where you stay.

We always got an orange, an apple, and a handful of mixed nuts still in the shell(walnuts, pecans, fibers, etc. )
make sure to have a jacket when you go out in cape town cuz even in summer the weather can change drastically and it can be cold and windy even tho it was hot earlier the same day. you'll absolutely love it here the food and vibe is amazing. be prepared for loadshedding tho. it's where they cut the power multiple times a day for 2 hours at a time (sometimes 4 hours). so have a powerbank and keep your phone charged.

OMG no way you're coming to Cape Town!!!! I'd suggest you take the double decker red bus around the Cape. You'll learn a lot about the history of the city while seeing beautiful views along the drive. The beaches, specifically Clifton is a must to go to and you'll find many lovely restaurants in Camps Bay. I hope you enjoy your stay. Cape Town is beautiful.

Honestly now that I think about it Cape Town is very similar to LA, low key city vibes and beach vibes with mountain hike view vibes as well, you’ll be going in Summer so anything that goes with those vibes mentioned above in terms of what to wear… Can’t wait to see your Cape Town vlogs 😊.

In my family, we ALL do Stocking Stuffers for each other. There are 4 of us, so we end up with 3 stockings/gift bags each.. Stocking stuffers are 100% my favourite.... We actually just ordered from Factor and it was an absolute nightmare, wound up never even getting our meals so they credited us for a future box but we can’t use the credits til January because there’s a promotion going ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ my partner’s brother uses Factor and he’s had multiple boxes go missing. Definitely didn’t make life easier.
