For people who don't know: Etoiles is saying that he insults himself because before, like 2020, he could easily lose confidence and blame himself whenever he made a small mistake. Even when he was in vc with other people his voice sometimes was very low and not confident. Having diabetes also contributed to make him feel that way as a kid but he worked on it and nowdays he is better!!
(It's all stuff he said in a stream with another guy named Ponce btw so I'm not making things up)
It's also a running gag within other streamers close to etoiles to impersonate him by talking in a low voice very close to the mic and say like "I don't wanna play anymore, I'm shit worst day of my life"
That’s kind of sad, but I’m glad he is better. :) I don’t speak french at all but I already like him a lot because his humor reminds me of so much Technoblade, so I might learn french for him lmfao
It's also because Etoiles, Baghera and Antoine are a part of a french streamer group who stream outside of QSMP and enjoy bantering with edgy humor as if they hated each other while everyone knows it's irony. For example Antoine is always reminded of his past youtuber career and how his videos poorly aged. If you see those french streamers being mean to each other it's always irony.

@@samskelly What's interesting is that Etoiles has already met Technoblade. He appeared in one of his UHC videos. Same skin, after all this time.
I haven't had the privilege of knowing Technoblade's content before QSMP, but I'm glad I found out about it through Philza's emotional bedtime stories and the love everyone has for him.
I flippen love Etoiles. He's become my favorite French QSMP member! He's so funny! 🤣
I'm glad Etoiles is getting more love and spotlight after the recent events of the presidential dinner and the double code attack. After the usual Twitter hate mob he got, he needs some positive feedback. Also this is a great idea and execution by the admins to give him a challenge at his level in a way that is integrated into the lore. It also strengthens his position as a candidate and protector of the eggs.
I'm also super happy to see him form such a nice relationship with Philza. It's great to see them enjoy the server, go on advnetures together, and even meet in real life.
He’s so dramatic, he and Phil match each other’s energy so well.

I love Etoiles a lot, i don't know why he don't go and challenge some other players to some battles, because there are very good minecraft pvp players in the server, we have Philza and Fit, how have years of experience in minecraft fights, together with Vegetta, he don't show it, but he have a lot of experience, including in PvP. A good amount of players could give him a good battle
I saw him challenge people a lot tho. I remember him asking foolish, bad and maybe forever to do pvp someday but all of them just want to build lol

But looks like he didn't ask to the experienced ones, I mean, they could use some practice when the codes appear, because maybe isn't very risky when they are together, but alone would need to do more fight
At the beginning of presidential arc,he was very hyped, he wanted death match with other players .
He then got harass on Twitter by Brazilian mostly, being called a brainless dude who only wants to fight, that doesn't care about the lore, he got even insults in his chat . Etoiles couldn't handle it, he went through a bad phase . One time he said he would have loved to have a vilain arc but he just doesn't the shoulders for, he can't handle the hate . It's a shame, it could have make this whole presidential arc very interesting.
That's why I have mixed feeling regarding the spotlight etoiles got recently. If in the future he is meant to make a difficult decision and kill someone, even for the best reasons, he likely might not . And people will be very disappointed of him .
His rp is based on benevolence and the well-being of others, he jokes a lot on the fact that he wants to fight a lot with every good pvp players here but his character isn't such a violent guy, he's kind and will only ask for a fight if it means this is important for the lore, the characters or the server. He said it himself that he won't go pvp unless someone ask him.
The best exemples was :
-first, his projet of a great fight in an arena against the presidential candidates who have still 2 lives and those who wants to ;
-the second is when he asked to get his life back, the admins wanted to give him freely his life but he asked to get it if he finished a hardcore dungeon made by the admins themselfs.
I think those players would have a good level but Etoiles was really a top pvp player between 2017 and 2019. According to Etoiles BadBoy would be the only one able to kill him but it seems that he does not want to fight.

Is hard and sad to compare both, but truly feel that Phil and Etoiles gave the same vibes as when Techno was with Phil, and around us. Im sure they three would be the best trio that we could had in the server, is a shame we don't see them play more together :c
