When my kids were little, one of their favourite books was Beegu. It was about a little lost alien that looked just like these creatures you’ve created. It’s a fabulous book for any parents out there.
I’d love to see them GLOW IN THE DARK!! Maybe they start baby blue & the glow is an Easter you could highlight just a couple. Perhaps they are something akin to Alika, X-Men, or Divergents - whatever era works! 😂 I also wrote short stories about some fuzzy looking little aliens when I was a kid, so along the same line, but their lack of limb to body definition is too cool: if you ever want to partner up & create a book - let me know!! ☁️ 📖

Thanks to your video with Okki aliens in that cool apartment, I keep seeing shoe and art shorts that have people deconstructing and breaking shoes to make custom ones and other forms of art, and I'm just reminded how for some reason, yours had so many negative comments about the use of the shoes when everything else doesn't. The comments criticizing you about how you used the shoes in the last project weren't even giving valid criticism. Please don't take them seriously. They have no weight. "Someone else unfortunate could have used it" that's not how buying stuff works at all. This is the "but there are children starving in Africa" bs. "But it's not how you're meant to use it!" People can hardly use the things they use every day "properly". You bought the things yourself. You can do whatever you damn well please. "It's not recycling" That's pedantry. That doesn't give whatever people say any authority or lend strength to an argument. It's a nothing point. Other ones just do the "oh, you kids call anything art these days" shit. Hell, some of them just didn't like it because they *personally liked* the brand of shoes you were using. Continue using shoes. It's not like those bullies are going to continue watching you. They just want to point at the weird thing they don't understand and think that they're the normal one for walking into a space they don't understand. THIS! 100% every bit of what you said! I'll admit that at first I wasn't fully on board the first time I watched a shoe deconstruction but, by the third watch through of that Apartment Shoe Short, I was absolutely sold because I took the time to really watch and think it over about how wild and free the art world is supposed to be and how there were techniques such as the resin swimming pool that I knew about but still was always impressed by the appearance of as well as the sheer skill and imagination that went into looking at the shoes and box and seeing something so wildly fun and creative from them.
