- I welcome back Dakota and Amanda to the crew as we board a Bali 48 catamaran in Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas to go sailing! I give you a walk through and tour of the boat. The Bali has some inovative design features that really make it a unique boat.

The design & layout of that cat is so functional and practical. A boat set up to be sailed and used hard as opposed to a fancy luxury showpiece yacht where I'd be afraid to scratch the nice wood lol.

The reason cats have trampolines is so that waves crashing over the top of the bow doesn't submerge the bow in rough seas. Bali doesn't need a trampoline because it has a scupper system which is capable of draining the water quickly. Its near the door.
@@jemezfun9767 Yes monohulls are capable of righting themselves at extreme angles, but very few can survive a full flip as they will likely start sinking. There are exceptions like the Garcia Exploration series which has armoured doors and is completely watertight in the event it completely rolls over. I'm not a sailor, but a friend that has lived on boats her whole life would not want to be in a catamaran in a severe storm.

Dakota is becoming much more animated and comfortable in front of the camera. And Amanda....blast from the past.
Dakota’s first Flying Doodles was a shocker almost. She was the most animated and vocal we’ve ever seen! She is so likable in the first place, but she really opens up on flying doodles, totally in her element! She’s going to do great there!

Something I don't like with this boat is the headroom at the bed, expecially in the master cabin. The Bali I checked have huge space but the finishing are definitely a concern. It looks like they sourced the furniture at Ikea! The garage door is a brilliant idea, better than Seawind's trifold door IMHO. Hope to see you in November in Thailand!

Excellent show but it needs new life. Blunt suggestions: More detail on your destinations. New and more interesting crew members, please. More interviews of crew and locals. Otherwise, keep up the great work!

i follow all your channels and sometimes it is hard to get a timeline of what is happening. This video appears to follow your Belize Videos, but the Glamping Doodles seems to be out of order. When did you video Flying Doodles with Dakota as host? You are very busy. ( love the new hair)
Bobby explained the current the video timeline in the video (live) What’s next for Sailing Doodles. We are currently seeing episodes of Glamping Doodles that were filmed before Burning Man (so around mid August) and the two Flying Doodles video with Dakota were filmed early in October.
