- Wherever we look, insect populations are crashing. But by studying the insects at the Knepp Estate in Sussex, England, scientists are able to see how rewilding is helping to boost the biodiversity and abundance of insects.
Find out how and why collecting insect specimens is still so important with the Museum's Senior Curator of Insects Dr Erica McAlister.

We desperately need more places like Knepp ...and more people like Erica!!
Oh my, I remember her from a video talking about lices, such an amazing person, wish that I could spend a day in the field with her
Why do these people have to kill everything they catch I am sure a photograph of the bugs would be just,as good not imprest with killing anything
Would be really annoying if you killed the 9th one there
Good content. The presenters have been chosen wisely.
Thanks for this series.
Glad you enjoy it!
This is awesome
Very interesting thank you for posting
Glad you enjoyed it
Fascinating / thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
I do wish people would live with nature instead of against it. What is more pleasant than sitting in a field, under a tree and listening to the birds sing and the insects chirp?
👍
Where are the bugs?!?
