This series does act like an "objective lens", many a times I feel like I am eavesdropping on their conversation. It's refreshing to see NK without overt commentary on what to see and note... Sometimes there are quick glimpses of an unexplained scene or two leaving the viewers to judge for themselves. The idea of 8-10 months maternity leave is fantastic and another 2-3years for childcare with the possibility of getting the same job back. That sounds insanely secure and a luxury we don't have

Man, your SAO documentary has such unique angle of making "people' in the storytelling. The way to see the North Korea as ordinary people's ordinary understanding of what they saw, ate, drank, sang, felt about people's ordinary life within their allowed range of area as much as possible and to as quickly as possible. Your storytelling is really compelling and I enjoyed so much! Keep it up SAO brother and sister! Jin is a very fascinating lady with beautiful mind as many viewers agreed! I wish her well-being and happiness. next time, please say hello to her if you guys see her once again.. the farewell scene of train station was speechless! its always not to say goodbye but rather goodbye until we see again!
    stay safe and healthy!

I really likes the monologue of your friend in the blue shirt in the hotel. Thanks for making these interesting documentaries. They challenge our preconceptions of North Korea.

well said. also its great to see such natural documentaries asking spontaneous question without adding own bias, afterward audience can view and construct their own opi. This is what most media especially global media lack, full of opinionated and come with preconstructed prejudice.

from the NK interaction, the human side of their ppl are very real and very human, it just like us. we tend to have prejudice to tag someone that we feel unknown n not us as non existent or weird but this show that human of NK are just very normal in their expression far from what the news told us to.
it just i hope their economy can get better. Hope one day sanction can be lifted. so their life standard can catch up to us.

Prezados, ver a vida na capital Pyongyang parece bom.
